I am willing to bet that A.B.'s parents are very popular in the community.

Common Sense Ping.

(actually this ruins wrestling for boys, as the most common concerns they express are 1) I’ll be embarrassed if I end up touching her THERE, or 2) She’s a girl, I’m afraid I might hurt her)

Brian Beattie badly needs to have the snot knocked out of him.

You're failing your daughter big time, dude.

What ever happened to common sense in this country? Why do we have to go through the time and expense to litigate every stupid whim?

Wrestling is a good sport -- but myself personally wouldn't want to compete and have to touch anybody in those regions.

And the most common concern they DON'T express is: She's a girl, I'm afraid I might lose to her. :)

It is infuriating that some scumbag judge’s default position is to force a school to facilitate innapropriate teenage contact. What is even more infuriating is that he is probably the rule not the exception.

How would a male coach demonstrate a T-Bar on a 14 year old female wrestler?

But then, why would he need to?

That said, if I were wrestling said female, I might be tempted to encourage her to put me in a Chicken Wing Half Nelson pin. The resulting tangle is painful on the arms but the view is spectacular.

Actually, I think the big elephant in the room that no one wants to talk about (I've been listening to local talk radio on this topic for the past hour) is a boy would have no problem touching a girl in those 'regions', but it is awful embarrassing to him for what pops up in his singlet and having to walk off the mat in front the team, family and the crowd.

Even if they let the girl wrestle guys a couple weight classes down from her, I don’t think that would be a big concern.

All that has to be done is to have one of the guys on the team spar with her and put a legal wrestling move on her that hurts her enough that she will not want to pursue it ever again.

When I was a kid two girls wanted to play in our boys hockey league. They were actually pretty good. A lot less concerns because it was much less of a contact sport at that level (and one of them was actually a goaltender). Us guys weren’t freaking out about them, which I’m sure we would have if we were wrestling.

The other one grew up to be a really nice looking woman.

Would that apply to keeping gays off bouts teams as well?

actually, it would do the young boys GOOD to have to wrestle the girls,

the boys might learn how to survive the girls better when they all grow up....

Or 3) what happens if I lose to her?

If the contact is too "sensual" to be between males and females, then it is definitely too "sensual" for contact between two boys.

The USA definitely does not need any more jock faggots.

I’m guessing the ACLU will be all over this, since it sounds like a fine way to advance the pedophile agenda. Allowing adult men to touch girls bodies = camel’s nose under the tent?

There has always been coed wrestling. It doesn’t need sanctioning.

That's what I was thinking. If the kids are finding anything about wrestling "sensual" then they're not doing it right.

Brian and Angie Beattie are trolling for a way to make some money suing the school district.

They sue if the rule stands and the daughter can’t wrestle with the boys.
They sue if she wrestls and a boy accidentally touches her.
They sue if she get injured.
They sue if she feels discriminated against.
They sue if the boys are too big, too strong or too male.
The sue if the temperature is too high, too low, just right.
