8 Jerusalem staggers, Judah is falling; their words and deeds are against the LORD, defying his glorious presence. 9 The look on their faces testifies against them; they parade their sin like Sodom; they do not hide it. Woe to them! They have brought disaster upon themselves. 10 Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds. 11 Woe to the wicked! Disaster is upon them! They will be paid back for what their hands have done. 12 Youths oppress my people, women rule over them. O my people, your guides lead you astray; they turn you from the path.
13 The LORD takes his place in court; he rises to judge the people. 14 The LORD enters into judgment against the elders and leaders of his people: "It is you who have ruined my vineyard; the plunder from the poor is in your houses. 15 What do you mean by crushing my people and grinding the faces of the poor?" declares the Lord, the LORD Almighty.
16 The LORD says, "The women of Zion are haughty, walking along with outstretched necks, flirting with their eyes, tripping along with mincing steps, with ornaments jingling on their ankles. 17 Therefore the Lord will bring sores on the heads of the women of Zion; the LORD will make their scalps bald." 18 In that day the Lord will snatch away their finery: the bangles and headbands and crescent necklaces, 19 the earrings and bracelets and veils, 20 the headdresses and ankle chains and sashes, the perfume bottles and charms, 21 the signet rings and nose rings, 22 the fine robes and the capes and cloaks, the purses 23 and mirrors, and the linen garments and tiaras and shawls. 24 Instead of fragrance there will be a stench; instead of a sash, a rope; instead of well-dressed hair, baldness; instead of fine clothing, sackcloth; instead of beauty, branding. 25 Your men will fall by the sword, your warriors in battle. 26 The gates of Zion will lament and mourn; destitute, she will sit on the ground.
I agree. The average young man or man is a spiky haired, girl jean wearing, sweater vested, half-talking pansy.
Today’s men may be using the “effiminate” part as an act to attract women. Their strength in these cases is to compel their paramours to undergo repeated abortions. All in the name of “sexual freedom”, really secular slavery.
It’s from the St. Crispians Day speech:
Holding one’s manhood cheap is a choice with consequences.
It could be that the ground water is contaminated by birth control drugs. That can’t be good.
Possibly an act to bed down the ladies, whom the Bible in such cases calls "silly".
I don’t think He’s giving us anything. We’re doing it to ourselves. We told Him to get out of our way, and He did. Now we’re paying the consequences for such a stupid demand.
The good news is that He’ll come back if we ask Him, though: “’Return to me, and I will return to you,’ says the Lord Almighty.”
As soon as I saw the headline, I KNEW it was Isaiah 3ff
Exhibit A and B.
You're right. Great line.
Even for the conservatives, it's been Sarah Palin holding us together until the recent rise of Cruz and Lee.
The Senate just passed an absolutely unnecessary "gay rights" bill, so we know that it's actually a "gay preference" and a "Christian discrimination" bill as soon as it gets in the hands of judges.
It already has, and it's a disaster.
There are plenty of “men” still in the US, but we are not part of the culture. We have been rejected by this “culture”, and live largely apart from it.
Had to be Is 3
“”The women of Zion are haughty, walking along with outstretched necks, flirting with their eyes, tripping along with mincing steps, with ornaments jingling on their ankles.”
I read the above and instantly think I’m at a mall observing the crowd.
It is. And that is worrisome.
Hospitals have started (after studies, instead of common sense, as usual) to separate drugs into unleaking hazard bags.
Birth control will be looked back upon some day appropriately. It has so many consequences that people, men included, find way too inconvenient to face.
Logical outcome of the feminists’ War On Boys that has been ongoing since the 1960’s.
Andrew Jackson comes to mind. Neither Wall Street nor the hip generation would care for him but he would be good medicine for our country’s current sickness.
“Affordable Care” I could support
I use "discover their secret parts" often to show young ladies their camel toes are on full display and God is using them to judge America.
Consider beach/pool wear of the two sexes. Girls wearing tiny bikinis, walk easily with their parents. Boys and their dads wear bathing suits? made of yards of material, down to their knees.
Who is the dominant sex in that scenario?
Sounds about right in the headline.
