A pathetic flop as a candidate, a Republican and a human being.

No long touchdown passes, just blocking and tackling.

I think I get even more disgusted with Paul Ryan than I do with Romney (and I hate Romney’s guts). Probably because of the sheer duplicity involved in selling Ryan as the true-blue conservative counterbalance to Romney on the 2012 ticket. Turned out a total snow-job. Especially when just a few months later, Ryan is out supporting homo adoptions and pushing amnesty big-time, standing on stage right alongside that loathesome Guiterrez in selling it.

As if I hadn’t already grown intensely distrustful of the entire GOP after the grotesque backstabbing of Palin, then the nomination of a Massachusetts liberal... it gets topped off by this year’s blatant betrayals by Rubio and Ryan.

Been an exclusively Republican voter all my life, but I’ve pretty much had it. I’m hardly joking when I say the first mental imagery that comes to my mind in regards to the GOP nowadays is no longer Ronald Reagan, but rather, a knife lodged in a human backside.

sorry, D.C. doesn’t make you a central planner. that’s in you from the beginning. it’s that insane compulsion to fix the problems only you know how to fix in the clueless, unwashed masses, er, that is, the people. you just got to “help out” in the biggest way you can imagine.

and, btw, you just can’t become a trusted member of the GOPe without it.

Once Ryan showed his true colors as a pure RINO, I was done with him forever.

That happened way before this hear. But nobody wanted to be reminded that he was always a big government statist in 2012. Anyone just seeing that now hasn’t been paying attention for a long time.

dittos, I keep getting fundraising emails fro him and the replies I send would singe the devils hair. I almost hope he doesn’t stop sending them because its a tiny bit therapeutic to tell him FU even though I know he doesn’t read them.

“There won’t be a grand bargain. So we shouldn’t suggest that there will be.”

Because to Ryan and other members of the GOPe Defeatist Caucus, there’s NEVER a right time to fight for anything in DC.

Sad but true. He held such promise. He seemed so principled, but if he folded as easily as he did, then apparently not.
