Democrats believe that you just simply cannot get by without the government. Apparently, a government that must spend a trillion dollars more than it takes in to provide this valuable service, by the way.

If they didn’t spend 2.5 trillion on Obamacare they could have saved this.
Oh well.

If they didnt spend 2.5 trillion on Obamacare they could have saved this. Their new Obamacare doctors can issue prescriptions for ramen noodles for them.

“We believe that these cuts come at a time when many hardworking American families are still struggling to make ends meet in the wake of the worst recession in decades.”
ya well.. I believe the snap program is taxing many hardworking Americans who are trying to get by to death. And since we are paying the bill, I say cut it some more.
Perhaps “snap” can stop spending money on advertising and raise the “benefit” aka handout back up?

A perfect example of when the government creates something that is temporary, it will become permanent. Or at least, that was the expectation in this situation

You know, it pains my heart, it really does, that people are speaking from high mountaintops and failing to look down in the valley, Jackson Lee said.
Says the woman who steals money from my wallet to give to others. What moral high ground.

For some reason more stores in my area have posted signs they no longer will accept EBT cards. Not the chain stores, but the privately owned ones.

"Texas families and American families are waking up to a nightmare"Losing $36 per month is a nightmare? Or did Jackson Lee mean they woke up to a picture of her face?

Talk about weening people off the government tit....how ‘bout those congress critters who work 120 days a year but draw a full time salary along with cost of living increases immediately after cutting food from the tables of people who also need to eat AND who work full time???
How about easing up some of those restrictions which prevent people from starting businesses of their own?
