collusion; they pretend to be neutral but suggest folks write in Bolling, which cuts into the GOP vote. Just another lib trick to win at any cost.

It’s not so much ‘spineless’ as treacherous. The ‘write in Bolling’ is meant to harm Cuccinelli (for whom I have already proudly cast my absentee ballot).

The paper’s editorial board wrote that "those who cannot in good conscience vote for the official candidates should consider writing in Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling."
IOW, they'd endorse a Republican, but they never endorse a Republican.
