Sounds all too familiar doesn’t it.
You’d think high ranking officers would take a hands off approach after charges are preferred and let it be settled by the UCMJ with JAG’s handling the legal proceeding.
It seems now the higher the rank the more they want to steer the proceeding to an outcome they feel is appropriate whether that outcome is warranted or not. I guess it could be for different reasons; politics, PC, self promotion, etc.
I guess in this case Amos was trying to steer the initial investigation, that sucks too.
“I think the people in the Pentagon feel like they are walking through a minefield every day in their dealings with the Obama administration.”
Imo, what we’re seeing is the full bloom of power coming to the Clintonistas who flooded into both the military and intel services during and immediately after the Clinton Regime.
We’re also dealing with the end result of having to incorporate civilian Leftist thumb suckers into the military system in order to appease the Domestic Enemy Left after 9/11.
Sounds like Gen. Amos made a mess of things. Thanks for the update ping, Lancey.
Amos is a shameful disgrace to the Corp.
