The Tea Party is not and never has been “anacharical”. The desire for a smaller, less intrusive government (especially at the federal level) is not anarchial — it’s constitutional.
Palin looks like the picture of delight, an American Joan of Arc, a happy warrior who Truly Believes
Cruz looks serene and sincere, another True Believer
Words can't describe what we all can see
There is a widespread and increasingly strident - and desperate - attempt to marginalize small-government conservatives by framing them as some sort of radical splinter group. But Tea Party? Really? A group that the author is forced to admit has no national organization, no funding, no leadership, no platform, in fact nothing that would qualify it as a recognizable party at all?
Well, if it freaks establishment proggies out, count me in. We can work out the doctrinal details later.
Another moron journalist that hasn’t a CLUE what the heartland is thinking right now.
This doofus doesn’t even know that it means “Taxed Enough Already”.
“Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don’t....”
Damn centrists.
A combination of ignorance*, condescension and underestimation. I pray they actually think this way.
*They mention Rep. Cotton as having “quote[d] John Wilkes Booth approvingly” when he said “sic semper tyrannis” over the corpsified Hugo Chavez. That’s like saying I’m quoting the Klingon General Chang if I repeat any of the Shakespearean lines spoken by Christopher Plummer in that role (”Have we not heard the chimes at midnight?”, for instance). Either they don’t know it’s the state motto of Virginia, or they don’t care, as long as they can tar Rep. Cotton as a wannabe assassin....
I wonder why Liberals continue to repeat slogans and false statements over and over?
The GOP shut the Government down
Obama killed Osama
Bush invades Iraq with no international support
ObamaCare is good and cheap
Guns kill people
They never, ever stop lying.
They’re just ticked that Cruz and the Tea Party have been dead on target with obama.
I am so happy to hear that Cruz is not the only one.
I was so afraid that he was all alone.
Except for me, of course.
Ana Marie cox is a stupid shallow bimbo who used to blog as washingtonienne. She is basically a no talent opinion maker wannabe
these elected officials have been lauded as Tea Party leaders
...Governor Chris Christie
Quick! Someone call for help. I think I'm dying of laughter.
Whoever wrote this article (Ana Marie Cox who??) is out of her mind or she writes lousy satire.
Resistance is futile Ann Marie Cox. You will be assimilated.
Ana Marie Cox. I remember her name being mentioned a couple months ago, possibly referring to an earlier column of hers.
If I remember correctly, she’s a far-left hag.
Anyone got good info on her?
B still my heart.
I’m in, sir. Just need to know where to muster.
Sometimes I feel like a nut, sometimes I don’t. At least I’m not one of those Obamanoid freeloaders who can’t join the TEA Party because they don’t pay taxes. Most of those jackasses don’t know what taxes are. They don’t charge taxes when you use a Food Stamp card.
/raises hand. Try and decipher my incredibly complex username NSA.
Thus spake ana banana nose the cox sucker.
Three words... CRUZ WAS RIGHT!
