I agree, and time is short
I refuse to lean on the bible to take care of secular issues.
we must kick some butt and remove the communists. the various churches need to back those who will do that.
unfortunately we have too many churches/temples who will try to help the criminals, their hearts bleed for the addicts, the illegal aliens, the faggots, the murderers who they spend and inordinate amount of energy preventing executions.
Huh?
God didn’t give us our current mess. He doesn’t vote in American elections.
He allows us free will, what we do with it is our problem, not His.
We get to reap the whirlwind we sow, though...
(also, please bear with me today, I seem to be having extraordinary difficulty clearly conveying sarcasm in my posts)
Thank you for a great post
??? I wasn't talking about the 'whole thing'. I was responding to the line "a. Blind, undoubtedly deaf and you probably live in a van down by the river."
Barnhardt often refers to 'living in a van down by the river', and that is why I said that the line reminded me of her, as did another poster. I wasn't commenting on the 'whole thing'...
I remember that. I have never been a fan of Jim Carry and don’t find him funny at all.
( Yeah! I am shouting.)
BS. God gave people free will. People make decisions and causing problems themselves. He’ll judge us all when we die. The problems here are problems countries around the world have dealt with (much worse than this) for thousands of years.
Who said anything about capitalizing G-d? READ the post:
Doug...when referencing the Creator with a pronoun; you use capital letters.
Last time I checked, G-d is NOT a pronoun...I was referring to this:
"Like it or not, in biblical times God, if you take the Scripture straight, as I do my whisky, waylaid his wayward people when they became contumacious.
I felt 'his' should have been capitalized ('His'), since the author was referencing G-d. I didn't even notice the keywords, and rarely pay attention to them. The keywords aren't Doug's responsibility, anyway.
I agree with his article, and have been discussing this subject with friends and neighbors for years...
God is not juding anyone or anything today. He judged all sin, past, present and future, through Jesus on the cross. To say that He is still judging people and/or nations and their sin, is tantamount to saying that Jesus going to the cross did not cover all sin and those of us as believers believe in an incomplete redemption. God’s Word is very clear that ALL sin was dealt with at the cross. God’s grace is immeasurable, and He sits on His throne with His arms wide open for any and all that will accept His greatest Gift, Jesus!
Very well said, especially the last part
The two build on each other. Like a death spiral.
bump for later
Please cease stalking and bullying.
zackly.....
When I look away from my neighbors and people working, raising families and building communities, towards the media, Hollywood, the news and such, it does seem like this country has gone faggoty, especially in the White House, certainly in the media and entertainment, and probably all around us. I’ve noticed the savages of society are no longer restrained, like the rest of us are too weak to stop them from preying on us. But mostly, I see that people, along with government, want to stay on easy street, even though it has dead ended.
You are one of the very **few** who "get it"!
Few conservatives and Christians understand the the danger or are doing anything to SHUT DOWN these indoctrination centers ( pre-K through grad school).
Personally, I have little hope.
The Communist Takeover of America: 45 Declared Goals (Congressional Record, 1963)
