The book of Judges is a prime example of God’s dealing with Israel during the time just preceding their first king. It illustrates a downward spiral of sin that results in chaos and evil (men) ruling over the people. The spiral would be repeated over many years. Every time the people cried out and returned to God, He RAISED UP a godly leader; then there would be rest; then the sons of Israel would again do evil and forget the LORD their God, and in His anger the LORD would sell them into some king’s hands. Then again they cried out to Him and He RAISED UP A DELIVER for them.
It was a time when every man did what was right in his own eyes...sorta like now.

And....Every school day Christians and conservatives send their children into the godless and collectivist and socialist-entitlement camps ( misnamed “schools”) where they **MUST** learn to think and reason godlessly just to cooperate with the indoctrination. They send them into socialist-entitlement schools where the children risk learning to be comfortable in accepting a socialist and tuition-free ENTITLEMENT!!!!!
I am exasperated!
Christians and conservatives seem OBLIVIOUS to the spiritual harm they are doing to their children and REFUSE to understand that socialist-entitlement and collectivist schooling is EVIL and MUST BE SHUT DOWN!~

I think it's as simple as the so-called "Greatest Generation" wanting to spare their kids the horrors and rigors they endured during WWII.

Right on! The Greatest Generation out of a proper sense of sparing the Boomers, the pain of the Depression, WWII and the Cold War, over pampered their kids who then, of course, revolted. Now they want their cake and eat it too, just like always.

God created the natural world which is governed by His natural laws. He sent us these natural laws and gave us the choice of obeying or ignoring them. When a few ignore His law a few suffer. Sort of like stick your hand in a fire you get burned. When the masses ignore His law then all suffer. We are at the point that the masses ignore His law. He told us what would happen and He let us bring the cosequences on ourselves. We are saying the same thing in different ways.
