and be careful of the GOPe pacs. the’re getting that their brands (RNC, RNSC, etc.) are worthless to conservatives, so they are diversifying under conservative sounding names. You’ve got to do your own careful vetting.

I did that long ago, my friend.

I sent Senator Dan Coats and e-mail today. I explained that I will be supporting whoever runs against him, first in any primary and then in the general election.

I have contacted all my representatives, local and federal, except Rep Carson. He’s not worth any time. He has less experience and is more partisan than Obama. The only reason he is elected is because his Grandma held the seat before him and had the same last name.

They should have thought of that before entirely alienating their base.

I wouldn’t even waste the Monopoly Money. Just send back the postage paid envelope, empty.

Actually, you should put something heavy in it [like sand] so they have to pay the difference.

Donate to Senate Conservatives Fund instead.

And send a photocopy of the check to the RNC in their prepaid envelope.

But that's The Tao of Republican Orthodoxy.

Send testosterone pills to the RNC and ask Priebus to personally take them to the eunuchs Boner and McConnell to take and distribute to the rest of the RINOs.

I am angrier at the Republicans than I am at the Democrats. I NEVER expected the Dems to do the right thing. NEVER. I did expect the Republicans to fight for principle. They’ve lost me and many of my friends. Not one bloody cent to the Party ever again. The Party needs to be dissolved and replaced by Conservatives that care more about the Constitution than reelection.

Just write “Return to Sender, Addressee Unknown” - THEY get to pay return postage.

Thank you. You are right, alienate is too soft a word though but we are still in car even if they are slumped over the wheel. Speaking barryishly.

There are some here on FR that still insist that conservatives MUST vote for the liberal republican in general elections.

Well, that was me at one time. I bought the "lesser of two evils" nonsense hook, line and sinker.
Reality's a bitch.

It's short-term vs long-term thinking. I'm glad you are working for the long-term good of the nation now.

Ouch. That left a mark.

Monopoly money ...

That’s exactly what I do and tell them that when they start acting like real Republicans I’ll send them REAL money. And when they call on the phone, they usually hang up before I get through my speech about why I will not give them a dime!

Much as I hated McCain, what with Palin and the support of Rush, etc. I put a clothespin on my nose and started cheering the ticket but the stench didn't leave.

In retrospect, a Republican victory under those circumstances would have been disastrous for conservatives as it would have reinforced the idea that you have to be a "moderate" to win.

McCain would have gotten us into WW III, so in a way, I’m glad he lost.
