“God: You really are an idiot.”
Only a liberal like you comes to that conclusions because she can’t win the argument. FO, liberal.
“This is a common sense approach. “
let me get this straight, you are agreeing that there is such a threat to children by wolves that you think it is a “common sensed approach” to make children hide in cages instead of adults handling the situation by standing watch over the children with rifles capable of killing the threatening wolves or perhaps altering bus routes to pick kids up closer to homes???
That makes about as much sense as liberals claiming when a gunman enters a school the children should throw chalk erasers and books at the gunman and hide in closets instead of arming the teachers to kill the gunman first.
Liberals never were that bright. “Common sense” to them is at a retarded level to everyone else.
You said a child had never been attacked by a wolf. That is certainly a false statement. The incident with the woman shows the savagery that wolves are capable of.
Wolves aren’t bears. Wolves are pack animals and are very intelligent. They kill for the fun of it. They’ll rip the guts out of an animal just to see it run.
You are an idiot who thinks wolves are some harmless fuzzy little animal. There is a reason they were hunted to extinction. Only these aren’t the wolves which were originally here in America, these are Canadian Timber wolves. Much larger and much more dangerous.
nice doggies
LMAO you are humorous though in your idiocy.
LMAO you are humorous though in your idiocy.
bears are usually not carnivorous....OH, YEAH? Tell my bird feeder about that...Oh..wait..never mind.
Is that right?/s
Then 'splain to me the following...
Wolves outnumber panthers/cougars in North America by a large margin, yet....
In the last hundred years or so, wolves have killed TWO humans, while mauling around 20...
But the rarer cat has KILLED at least TWENTY in the same period.
And fatal bear encounters are even more plentiful.
Nobody is asking kiddies to huddle in cages in bear or cat country, but you think it's great in wolf country?
Perhaps you ought to study up on your math, especially the section on Probability.
And how long have wolves been in the wild in the western US? They released a few in 1995 and now there are several thousand in the western US. Prior to that there were ZERO for the last 70 years.
Perhaps you should keep your mouth shut until you know what you are talking about.
Several thousand wolves in the US since 1995.
Number of fatal wolf attacks in this period.......ZERO.
Number of fatal cat attacks in same period......FOUR.
Number of fatal bear attacks in same period.....FIFTEEN.
Well, now that I am the one who seems to know what they are talking about, perhaps you should be the one keeping the mouth shut.
How many elk, deer, cows, sheep, & dogs do cats kill? How fast do teh cats breed?
hmmm?
Elk populations are down 80% in the areas where the wolves are. What happens when the elk are gone?
Oh and your numbers are wrong. The woman who was gutted and ate alive by the wolves says so. Why do you think wolves are a good thing? Perhaps you are a supporter of the nature conservancy.
Yup...I live in Brandon, a small panther was hit by a women on Hwy 301 near Riverview a few months ago...she thought it was a cat, put in her van to take home and take care of it...
The "cat" was not amused when it finally woke up...
The area it was hit was urban but there is housing developments, trailer parks, retail all around it...
It makes very good sense for the bus stop to be some type of shelter that kids can get into if they spot a dangerous animal. The threat is most likely not great enough to require an adult to stand by with rifles. If that doesn't make sense to you then I would suggest that you are the one who is at a “retarded level”. It is almost unbelievable to me that anyone without some type of bizarre agenda would argue against this type of common sense solution.
Again... have you bothered to watch the video that this thread is actually about??? It would seem not... which would partially explain your nonsensensicle arguments. I grew up with livestock that were sometimes killed or badly injured by predators.
It must be a lot of fun for a city guy like yourself to make fun of those who grew up out in the sticks and call them liberals because they think their children could be adequately protected by making their bus stop a safe place to shelter if they spot a threatening animal instead of following them to the bus stop carrying their rifles. If you lived in the real world instead of armchair quarter backing from the safety of your apartment you might realize how ridiculous you sound. Watch the video!!!
That does not, however, mean that kiddies have to be 'caged' to guard against a non-existent threat.
So, you think my numbers are wrong, because I did not include the Alaskan jogger?
If you will recall, it was YOU who postulated the argument in term of "Western US since 1995". I went along with your line of argument by NOT counting fatal attacks in Alaska or Canada, where wolves had never been eradicated.
Two years ago I hunted elk in Idaho, and guides/outfitters were all in agreement that, unless wolves are controlled, there will be little big game hunting left in their area (just West of Yellowstone). Three years ago I hunted brown bear in West Alaska, the local indians said 'kill all the fookin' bears', as they value moose much more highly. Although there were wolves in the area, the injuns were not as pissed at them.
So, neither of us likes wolves...and one of dislikes people who use scare tactics and kids to voice that displeasure.
Depends, wolves can be extremely aggressive especially when they start to consider people good to eat.
Besides if it helps eliminate the wolves what really is the problem. Most people in the east just think wolves are big dogs.
By the way, Alaska has been part of the US for a while now.
“So, neither of us likes wolves...and one of dislikes people who use scare tactics and kids to voice that displeasure. “
Which is why your tactics continue to lose and the left continues to win.
Happened about a mile from my house. He was keeping the hogs down.
OMG! I had no idea wolves were that big!
We are fighting this urbanism/regionalism thing in New Hampshire. Here we only have ONE program and it’s called Granite State Future.
