I used to think - let them have unions if they want/ not for me. Now I think they should all be illegal. I talked to some during the Albertson’s strike here in Los Angeles a few years ago. They were SO RUDE to me — I just wanted to understand. One guy took me aside and was very nice, but the rest were rude to me - absolutely no reason.

Plus, they are sucking the cities and states and schools and governments DRY. They should all be tarred and feathered - especially this Las Vegas culinary one.

We used a music room at the local public school for our community orchestra rehearsals. Suddenly they wanted $1000 a MONTH! From free!! I started talking to folks I knew in the district. I was told, “The janitors are with the Teamsters. You will not win one concession.” Truly, we were lucky to get out without an $18,000 back pay! Disgusting.

Supposedly all the grocery unions are about to go on strike until their hours are adjusted so they can receive healthcare. 30 hrs is the cutoff and now their part time employees are all being reduced to 16 hr workweeks. Overheard at Safeway.

I realize a redundant question etc, BUT has anyone explained to these fools that if it weren’t for the Tourists Las Vegas would pretty much ‘go away’.

They can no longer ‘count’ on Gambling to support them as every Indian Tribe and most states have their own Casinos.

The greed here- in the big picture- is unbelievable.

“They” sit in MD, look at Atlantic City, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Delaware and say LOOK at all the MD cars sitting in those states etc....

The lotteries FINALLY figured out when all the States had their own lotteries, the money slowed down, SO, they went to multiple state lotteries and the Jackpots started getting larger.

I wonder when they will start selling 5 dollar tickets - that will really grow large jackpots, of course they will end up ‘pricing’ themselves out of business, but that is tomorrow...

Just use the ‘Rush L’ reasoning..if a buck a ticket can run jackpots of 30 or so mill, and 2 bucks can run up to 100 mill thrice as fast, why not just sell 20 dollar tickets. The ‘suckers’ will let you know when you reach the saturation point...
