Not for a second.
Yes. I do. Dwi laws are there for the protection of the citizenry. The police can enforce it or not and they can clean up the mess or not. But it is illegal for someone to endanger me on the road. Cops or no cops.
Sheesh, you seem to want to have your own little conversation and create my part as you keep making it up.
This stuff may be new to you but some of us have been around it for all of our lives, I didn’t need these recent electronics to show me police brutality.
So speak for your self but quit pestering me if you can’t accurately read my posts, I’m tired of you misinterpreting me and trying to argue with your own created version of my post.
You must be referring to the NYC cop who is a member of the NYC motorcycle gang that beat the driver of an SUV this past week. According to NBC News he is a member of the the gang that stopped the car, trashed it, and severely beat the driver. Apparently he was at the scene of the attack, but as best I remember the news article he may or may not have taken part in the actual beating.
Whether or not he participated in beating the driver and/or terrorizing the victim's entire family, he was at the scene and should not only be fired he should be charged with a felony along with every other member of that gang.
The reports I’ve seen indicate that there were as many as FIVE police in the gang, with one being the guy pounding in the window with his helmet.
Perhaps you and I will live long enough to actually know the truth.
Perhaps you should be little clearer in what you have to say?
As for “pestering” you, I don’t know you from Adam. And I’m not going to spend my time trying to remember which FReeper does or does not want me to respond to their posts this week.
If you have a problem with people responding to, or heaven forbid challenging your Pearls of Wisdom, then you’d no doubt be happier elsewhere. Lucianne.com is conservative and does not allow posters to directly reply to each other. Your comments will go safely unchallenged there.
Wow you decided to continue and step it up a notch, to boot.
Post 21 was clear and simple, it should never have led you down this path.
They don't, still happens, no states do, but it still happens. I guess these scofflaws haven't had their faces busted up yet, that will solve it.
Haven't seen many bombs then drama queen.
Head busting makes everything much worse. Cop was wrong
So in your opinion, should he prosecuted for deprivation of rights under color of law - yes or no?
Yes, of course.
Hmm. We’re going to count bodies?
Have seen more than a few results of IEDs and also entire families but a couple of kids done in while riding in a van
“Hmm, funny, my license from 18 year ago still says Peace Officer.
FWIW, its the same one they give out to the new kids these days.”
And they call obamacare ‘the affordable care act’.
Same corruption of the language...
Cops like to call themselves the ‘good guys’, I KNOW better.
You are mistaken.
Park Rangers have been acting as storm troopers since the 70s when they were raiding and killing individuals and families who lived in park enclaves that the government wanted but the owners didn’t want to sell. That continued into the 90s and I’ve not heard of any more of it since then. Some of the unfortunate owners got drug allegations but nothing ever came of that. Some were not charged with anything.
Whatever.
I’d count them. Accidents kill about 45K/yr in this country, driving is dangerous. Drunk drivers kill some of them, but not all. If getting your face crushed fixed accidents, it would be mandatory. The gal was pulled over sleeping. She should have tossed her keys but didn’t and got a dui. She wasn’t going to kill anyone unless they drove into her on the side of the road. Cops were after revenue. Now she will be.
Never said or implied that he should not have been be arrested. I still don't think he meant to hurt her as badly as he did, but he should have been arrested.
