There is something very very strange about this situation/matter. The woman was obviously deranged. She yelled out that in her head she had to speak with Obama. Someone gave the cops an order to dispose of the woman instead of merely taking her into custody. Apparently she got blocked in and had no other lethal weapons once the car was blocked. She was killed with a fusillade of shots. There has been no public presence to explain why such fatal action was necessary or taken. There has been little if any public disclosure of the lady and her background beyond her occupation. The entire incident has been taken off the public radar. It seems to me that at the least there is something more to looking at why this lady would have had such a mental fixation on seeing Obama. Are all Presidents going to be in danger of such deranged persons. Reagan was but his shooter was captured alive.

We have been told that she had her passport and some foreign currency in a locked box in her car. What foreign country was the money from, and how much did she have?

I’ll second that emotion.
High speed chases are frequent occurrences in some cities. They even had hour-long TV series devoted entirely to real-life chases. There were extremely reckless and dangerous cases where criminals drove on the wrong side of the freeway for miles with police hot in pursuit; or in city streets with everything scrambling to get out of the way. And some reckless driving cases were caused by medical reasons.
Regardless, it is extremely rare for police to open fire on any of the suspects, especially when the chase is already over and the person refused to get out of the car. There are many options available to the authorities during the ensuing standoff.
In this case, if they were truly concerned a bomb could be involved (which I very much doubt based on their actions), they would have sealed off the perimeter, retreated to a safe distance and maybe contacted her relatives and let them approach her, etc. Besides, since when is a mere suspicion of a bomb enough justification to kill?
It is obvious they never wanted it to end peacefully and the order to kill had come from the top, hence the multiple rounds of bullets that came quickly.
Even if you are not bothered by the circumstances of this case, I hope you at least realize the blatant hypocrisies of the usual suspects and the complete silence of the media when you speak out in support of the police’ actions.
All it takes is for one cop to open fire, and the rest will act like lemmings. Case in point. Where I live, three cops respond to a domestic disturbance. They are told the man has a gun and a woman and two children are inside.
The man inside the house answers the door, opens it part ways, and after an argument with the police shuts the door. The police try to force the door back open, but one of the cops at the door shoots his partner through the hip with his PATROL RIFLE (we call them AR 15S).
The third cop, hearing a shot, empties his pistol into the house.
No defined target, just shoots wildly into the house where there are innocent children and a woman.
There are a lot of these hair triggered cowardly cowboys out there.
Chick was exiting said vehicle unarmed when she was gunned down. With a baby inside. She didn’t fire a shot. The Barney Fifes surrounding her car fired several.
Maybe I pulled the trigger too quick on this one.
