Zongker should leave Nixon out of it. While there were mistakes, he in no was was bent on destroying our culture, our economy, and our military as these communists are.
He was 30-40 years ago. Give it up.
There....fixed it.
Obama controls most of the media little different than Hitler did in the 1930s. Of course most of the media are willing tools of his propaganda machine.
And we’re supposed to think Andrew Breitbart’s death was natural? No way, no how. I know he had heart problems but what better person to target than someone whose death can be explained away as believable? He was murdered, just as Michael Hastings was murdered just as Chris Kyle’s murder was a gov’t ‘hit’ just as Extortion 17 was the elimination of nearly all of SEAL Team 6 and so on..
So? History shows that fascist partisans always manufacture the rope that they’re going to be hung with. Oh, wait! Government schools don’t teach real history anymore.
The news media lean Democrat but the alliance they have formed with the Obama White House is extraordinary. The New York Times sets the ideological tone for most of the U.S. news industry, print and broadcast. In the presidential campaign season of 2008 candidate Obama met with Times management as well as big city newspapers across the country. Almost all these papers hover near insolvency. Obama proposed a “newspaper bailout” consisting of federal grants to subsidize these financial dinosaurs. This scheme would be sold under the guise of preserving historic institutions. He also dangled the possibility of White House jobs for reporters friendly to his candidacy. Obama has made good on his promise to hire scores of journalists but the bailout scheme feel flat in Congress in 2009.
Obama is also the first “celebrity” president since Kennedy and liberals are drawn to shiny objects.
I believe that sooner or later a reform movement will gain support in American journalism. When institutions become as profoundly corrupt as the U.S. news media the markets they traditionally have served turn against them.
