— have driven *other* cars. — brain fade...
I have to laugh at this.
Reluctant? How about NEVER? There are lots of other trucks. The technology would have to be so fantastic for me to have on that they would have to make diesel and pay me to take one. How about that for “Reluctant”?
I am one of them.
Sounds like they have some really brilliant plans... don’t fucus on market share, make them cheaper and raise the price... brilliant.
Sell ‘em to the unions. Last I checked Toyota is building really good trucks right here in TEXAS with Non-union labor!
Whooop!
Here in S. California, I see “GM - ALIVE, BIN LADEN - DEAD”
bumper stickers all over.
They should read “GM - OWES 50 BILLION, AL QUEDA - BIGGER THAN EVER”.
As far as the GM Truck issue, Texans are building them. That should be another consideration.
Sure - send me one and I’ll put it up.
“I believe Chevys reputation regarding trucks is that they are more expensive than Ford or Dodge but higher quality.”
Try that hypothesis on the diesel pickup truck forums.
What do you do? Chances are there’s a job for you here.
Won’t buy a GM or Chrysler product.
Buy Ford—they never took a cent of Obama Money.
I'm a pollster, primarily political but also for other applications, and I'm recently retired. It's a question of family rather than work that keeps me from moving. Texas is on my schedule for a few years from now.
I was going to buy a 2014 Silverado dually but then I found out no more extended cab, and I do NOT want a crew cab.
