That was my thought ... seems like they can find “extra” resources when they want.
The State Board of Trustees erred when they transferred those waters to the Fedgov. As per the FL Constitution the title to the Navigable waters of the State are held in trust for the citizens and can not be wholly alienated from them. This is also backed up by case law in the FL and U.S. Supreme Courts.
I think it’s time to return ownership back to the people of Florida. BTW, the State FWC is doing a far better job of managing the fisheries.
On the bright side - it will be tough to spin that his spending more time and energy (and manpower) to shut things down than it would have taken to leave them open, is Repubs fault...
” May Florida voters learn the lesson that he is now giving to them good and hard.”
Many who voted for Bammy were either SE FLoriDUH Libtard Jews or welfare clients of assorted theological backgrounds. All were, in essence, “Gibsmedat” Persons or deluded fools who suscribed to “With my guilt, and your gelt, we can do great things.”
The Founders knew why they didn’t allow the propertyless to vote on disposition of the property of others.
Florida has a school system deeply mired in the socialist slime of environmentalism. Generations of young Floridians were propagandized until sufficient numbers of FloriDUH voters were generated to vote into exsistance the plague of regulations they now suffer under.
Remove the regulations, fire the “swarm of officers sent hither to eat out our substance” sell the regulatory buildings - OR - face continual destruction of the Republic nad your own assets and future.
PS The Socialism impaired are already spending your children’s assets and are about spend your grandchildren’s assets.
