Yeah right, the democrat voters want to end their domination.
Visit DU and read the enthusiasm for immigration, they know what it means for the future and single party control.
Polls show that mass immigration is unpopular, even with Democrats. Of course, as we both know, our political system does not directly translate mass opinion into policy.
According to a Fox poll
“Overall, 28 percent of voters say the U.S. should increase legal immigration.” which I assume are mostly democrats.
“[Of]Democrats (47 percent) want to decrease legal immigration.”
If I were democrat leadership I wouldn’t be to worried about not being able to handle this period and waiting for the millions of new voters coming their way.
For tactical reasons, both politically and rhetorically, the focus of Republicans concerned about mass immigration has been on illegal immigration, which offers the strongest case for action. And not all legal immigrants are cause for alarm in that many such legal categories give preference to hard-working, entrepreneurial types.
Lol, like so many of your posts, I just think OK, that’s nice, I have no idea what this conversation is about.
