That SUV is more like 5500#. I’m a stickler for accuracy.
A decent size sedan is 4000#.

The 40 cal rounds out of my keltec sub 2000 are only 180 grains, but their foot/pounds of energy are over 1000. I keep one or two 30 round mags loaded up for it, even when folded up.

MC dude parks his fancy Harley in front of moving RV ....
Hey, what can I say? Some "cyclists" are idiots.
But in defense of my statement it doesn't say what kind of "cyclists" the deceased was, biker or weekend wannabe.
I do admit there are plenty of "patched" idiots on the road.
Make that "fomerly" on the road. ;-)

According to your post your good neighbors are drinking, druggers with anger management issues that care more for their bikes than for their women.
The ones I knew were older "former" patched bikers and I don't claim they were your average "Ward Cleaver", i.e "Leave it to Beaver" kind of neighbors nor that they were good husbands or fathers, but they never gave us trouble and we certainly never gave them trouble.
But they helped us with repairs on the farm(in trade for use of the back 40 for "hunting", (really just shooting range)and certainly told very interesting stories(and had the scars and tats to go along with them)
(I hope the statue of limitations had run out, hate to be called as an witness after the fact!)

Perhaps you can address the general lawlessness of these riders before you open your trap again about the minor rear-end collision precipitated by the reckless driving of the MC.

Because we all know that Asians, are notorious to be ill-tempered
By the way Monkey, out west CHP have a phrase for them...it's called driving while DWO...(Driving while Oriental) Not my term, so hold your sensitivities.
Ya need to get out more...Most Asians are lousy drivers, hence the term..
One other thing for the hysterical out here. I never said them chasing this guy down and assaulting him was right or legal.
My point here which was made multiple times, is just because someone changes into your lane and slows or even starts coming to a stop, does *not* give you the right to rear end them.
This isn't complex.

“Let me tell you folks about this yearly biker event that takes place in NYC. Thousands upon thousands of bikers descend on the outskirts of NYC at certain meeting points. Then they all ride into Manhattan and cause absolute chaos. Traffic laws lose all meaning. And they do it on purpose. I read their social media posts as part of my job.”
My wife and I were driving North on the West Side Highway just about a year ago, returning from Brooklyn. It was about 3, or 4pm on a Sunday afternoon. All of a sudden hundreds, and I am not exaggerating, of bikers entered the roadway at 96th Street. A few of the bikers spread across the road to stop traffic and to let the others enter the roadway. We were one of the first cars in line that were stopped. We had no choice but to wait for about 10 minutes until all the bikes got on the highway. They were popping wheelies, and racing around like crazy people. I called 911 immediately to let them know what was happening. They told me that they were aware and were responding. The bikers eventually took off and we were able to proceed. I can see how a very bad situation could occur if a motorist intentionally, or not, tried to ignore them stopping the cars and messed up there parade, which I am guessing may have happened to this guy. I occasionally ride a bike and have many friends who are really into riding. Trust me these were not those guys. These are lawless assholes looking to cause major trouble.

The issue here is suv guy does not have the right to run into someone because he happens to have an attitude.
. he continued to mouth off instead of being civil...
On many posts you have claimed that it was the driver that had the "The Attitude" yet before the "bump" the RR driver was clearly seen to be driving in a lawful, non aggressive manner.
After escaping by rolling over (abandoned) motorcycles, his actions are not of an individual with "Road Rage" but of an frightened motorist with family to protect.
I offer the video as proof.
When the cyclist pulled inside of the Range Rover's rightful lane, btw ) the "Asian with an Attitude" could have easily sideswiped him out of his lane.
But he didn't.
Nor did the driver speed up or change lanes in pursuit of the "bikers"
No, the evidence clearly shows the "bikers" changing lanes and speeding in attempt to make sport of the occupants of the Range rover. Not at any time did the "bumped" cyclist nor any of the other cyclists found him "threatening" nor did they act in fear of their life
Again it was the scared family man in fear of his life and the life of his family that tried, to the best of his ability to avoid contact with the "bikers"
It was the cyclist moving aggressively(recklessly) in the apparent thought he and his friends could intimidate the family.
But his efforts of "playing chicken" with the SUV backfired as he overestimated the ability of the driver and the SUV to react to his quick maneuvers.

Guess the "bikers" didn't know this stereotype either, huh?
Lousy doen't mean aggressive yet you offer no evidence the driver was acting in an reckless or unlawful manner, much less with malice as the "bikers" clearly is shown doing.
With clear knowledge the SUV was lawfully and non agressiviely in the lane he was overtaking, he intentionally slowed down in an clear attempt to box the family in for reasons unknown but the family man intrepreted as threatening to his person and that of his young family.
The RR driver didn't change lanes, speed up or menace the "bikers" but they did as the video is proof.
And an mere accident with no apparent injuries but to one's embarassment, is no excuse to threaten with harm, whether person or property.

I have no horse in this race. The Range Rover driver, probably some ultra-rich, ultra-liberal New Yorker. The bikers, .....well they’re New Yorkers.

BS. You can’t pull over a lane and slam on your brakes as documented here and think yourself not at fault. This isn’t that difficult.
