"
I mean, can you imagine a defund Obamacare effort, how much more likelihood it might hold if members of Congress really were upset with how much it was gonna cost 'em? But then Obama came up and took care of that. He's gonna subsidize 75% of their premium, so they now don't care. But if he hadn't subsidized 75% of their premiums for Congress, Senate, and their staffs, then they might not be so eager to have this thing fully funded and implemented. But Obama took care of them. But when he goes out to these low-information audiences and college kids, he doesn't care. He just tells them how wonderful and how great it is, and they'll deal with it later. " "You really have to wonder, if Obamacare is so great, why did Congress demand to be exempted from it? And they did. I mean, they demanded to be exempted from it like the elites demand to be exempted from everything they subject all the rest of us to. Why are the unions trying to get their own carve-out? Why is everybody trying to make some move to get their own carve-out or waiver from this thing if it is so wonderful? In fact, if it's so wonderful, why does it even need to be sold at all? Why does Obama have to go out there and tout the thing, if it's so wonderful? I mean, it ought to just sell itself, shouldn't it?"

Who in congress actually believes he will keep giving them 75% off once he doesn’t have to?

I got my notice from Blue Cross/Blue Shield today to inform me that my premiums will go up from $216/month to $620/month. That's 287% increase!!! The notice proceeded to tell me the alternative is that I should check out O'Care subsidies to see if I qualify.
This rotten piece of legislation is only "affordable" for people who don't make any money in the first place. The rest of us will be paying for their insurance.
ps. Has it dawned on health insurance companies that they're about to be put out of business?

If Obamacare is so great, why is it going to be forced on you at the point of a gun? (The IRS )

Then watch for another pension crisis. Many plans are heavily invested in insurance.

I have several clients who are going to self-insure, or look at the exchanges, depending on income. But their current carriers are the losers here.
If I were in the insurance business, I would have been lobbying big time to kill this thing!
I know of no one who is getting lower premiums - just previously uninsureds who are looking to sign up and start getting care. There are millions of these.

Anyone who voted for Hussein in 2012 deserves America's contempt.
People who voted for him in 2008 deserves our pity for falling for this kind of transparent propaganda...

Redistribution 101. I estimate that only around 10% of the population will benefit from this scheme and everyone else will be essentially enslaved; of course not including those awarded exemptions from this racket.
There will be many angry citizens making their voice heard once the bills and hidden costs hit the fan.

Excellent point, but like my tagline says “He needed the ignorant to reelect him, and he got them. Now we all have to pay the consequences.”

Mom was talking to her sister, my aunt, and my aunt told her that because of Obummercare, her deductible and rates have almost doubled. My aunt is 76, Mom is 75. My aunt, whom I never her her swear before, my mother thinks my aunt called the lyin' African in the White Hut, an "@$$h0/." My mother, who is fighting breast cancer and my cousin (my aunt's daughter) also has MS and I'm concerned for them too as well as everyone else.

With people who are exempt, won't their rates go up too? I hadn't really thought about that before but how could their rates not go up?

I suppose that’s possible, 3% of people 65 and over are not on Medicare.
But obviously it’s a low probability.

I hadn't really thought about that before but how could their rates not go up?I was alluding to the political elite, and there rates may indeed increase, but so will their generous subsidies (already standing at 75% of their aggregate healthcare costs) as needed. They will see to it and will not feel any pinch.
