[Article] The unspoken premise of all these self-serving rants is that America somehow owes blacks for past injustices even though most Americans today weren’t even alive in 1963.

If it were spoken aloud by one of the "leaders" of the civil-rights movement, that premise would lose a lot of its power by inviting public examination.

It's like a gun held behind the back, more useful sometimes when it's not out in the open.

It will be nice when our “national conversation about race” is over and we can get beyond stuff like this.

Remember, though, what Prof. Goldhagen found out about the Holocaust, viz., that the Nazis acknowledged their own evil nature when they went out of their way to involve other societal leaders in their crimes. As when, for example, they organized a Jew-shooting party for the members of the Berlin Philharmonic. After all, all playing and no Jew-shooting makes Jack a dull First Chair.

The Nazi bigwigs wanted to involve the cultural elite in their crimes .... and perhaps discover individuals who might have been quietly demurring from Nazi political truth, and drive their opposition to Nazism out into the open, so they, too, could be Dealt With.

Sharpton, Farrakhan, Melon Head Quanell X, Obama, and the rest of them will at some point want to progress to openly murdering whites -- to intimidate the whites and involve the non-whites in the Regime agenda. To promote the "buy-in", as it were.

As attorney general, Eric Holder refused to prosecute the New Black Panther Party members who openly brandished weapons at a Philadelphia polling station in 2008 in order to intimidate white voters.

Worse, they'd been convicted, the trial was in the punishment phase, and Larval Alien and Mountebank AG Holder pretended -- they were convicts, mind you -- to void their conviction (he can't do that) and set them free.

Gross racism and malfeasance on multiple levels. Something Bull Connor and Ross Barnett would have done for Byron De La Beckwith or Bobby Frank Cherry, back in the day.
