All this may certainly be true, but the damage is done in the US. The landscape is covered with prematurely closed and decommissioned coal plants, which will only reappear in India or China. Huge economic damage to the US, and the war on coal continues.
Not to say I am pro coal, but even if there were problems, the plants could have been phased out over the next 30-40 years. Shear hype and lunacy.

My theory is when the Great Grand Poohba of the Universal Church of Global Warming sold his “green” TV Network to Big Oil then exercised his options on Apple to cross over into the land of 9 figure net worth, his acolytes figured they had been had and lost interest.

Anyone remember the 1990s when the media hype the danger of the ozone hole? Now we never hear anything about

Funny how asininely arrogant the once cautious practitioners of the physical sciences have gotten.
Without a God for the sciences to be about (i.e. discovering the myriad ways in which God has manifested His glory) they find themselves tempted to BE God.
This climate change stuff was, and always is, about a globe (and sun) in which many ill-trackable, heavily influential factors slop about wildly, to put it in nonscientific terms. Trying to project the future from a smattering of measurements in this yet ill-understood system is the equivalent of palmistry or tarot card reading.

So long gravity does not change, temperatures will not change.

There are lots of wild card factors here. The earth isn’t a lab chamber filled with an ideal gas. It’s a wild system. And yet the good Lord has kept it tame enough for thousands of years (YEC folks) if not billions (OEC folks).

Sorry, in the '70's I was busy learning the metric system because we "are going to change to that system". What a croc!!!!
Well, I guess it DID teach me the difference between grams and ounces, which became important to me later. :)

The gram is a good thing to learn about if you weigh out food for diets. Ounces are often too coarse a unit of measure for this.

Make no mistake, that was a leftist trial balloon for this.

Just because the number of articles went down, doesn't mean the movement has declined. Maybe they don't need so many articles anymore.
Now, being a "climate-change denier," is considered worst that ever. You are considered the equivalent of a neo-nazi and not allowed into the discussion. Big business is pushing it almost as much as gay marriage. Soon, you will be able to fired from your job for being a, "climate denier."
