Look out – it’s coming your way soon

Charlie Butts August 19, 2013 (OneNewsNow)

Greg Quinlan of Parents and Friends of ExGays & Gays and the New Jersey Family Policy Council reacts to the news that New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has signed a bill banning reparative therapy for people with same-gender attractions.

Quinlan, Greg (NJ Family First)“He's just put himself in every living room and every family conversation to ban therapy that has no basis to be banned,” Quinlan tells OneNewsNow. “There is no peer-reviewed study saying that this is harmful to youth. During testimony we heard incredible, outright lies about the danger and damage of this therapy, all of it refuted and proven to be false.” Regardless, the governor signed the measure that effectively takes away the rights of parents and counselors to provide the help.

According to Quinlan, people can expect that the governor's actions will simply embolden homosexual activists to do more.

“So as they've tried in the ultra-‘Blue’ states of California and New Jersey, they're doing this in Massachusetts. It's been introduced in New York and Pennsylvania,” he notes.

“It will be coming to other states - so be on the lookout everyone. It's coming your way: invasion of parental rights and authority to make sure that all objections to homosexual behavior are stopped.”

So tell me again how a teenager knows he’s queer? Looks like Christie is stepping in where the Pope quit. As I recall the Pope said he couldn’t make moral judgments but Christie says he can. This makes Christie what? God on earth? Or just the donut King? I prefer my God to be in good shape anyway and not have to turn sideways to get thru a door.

Even if it is genetic, which has yet to be proved, God still said homosexual activity is impure and not to engage in it. Why is that so hard to understand?

I’m surprised Christie made this declaration BEFORE declaring that gluttony is not a sin.

Christie was born a prideful slothful glutton.

By his logic, pedophiles are not sinners.

The Catholic Church never said BEING homosexual was a sin. It just said all homesexual ACTS are sinful, both because any sex act outside of marriage is a sin, AND because homosexual acts are particularly unnatural and disordered.

Liposuction Christie knows best.

Wonder if fat boy hangs out in homo bathhouses and bars?

It would be hard to disguise him unless he went as a house.

Christie said he believes people are born gay ...

...but can't explain why the NBA player who recently proclaimed himself to be homosexual has an identical-twin brother who's not homosexual.

Christie said he believes ... that homosexuality is not a sin.

Probably also a "devout" believer in "separation of church and state".

I would love to get into the brains of these politicians and bureaucrats in order to try to understand what makes them think governments have any role in these sorts of things.

If it is genetic why ban it? Would years of failure just kill it off?

So Krispy Kreme has declared homosexuality genetic, eh? This would imply that =>

there is a gay gene.

Which in turn would imply that =>

OBGYNs could identify said gene.

Which in turn would imply that =>

Expectant mothers could choose to kill babies exhibiting said gene

Which in turn would imply that =>

I should be stocking up on popcorn...

Christie has put himself on a par with Governor Jerry Brown of California by signing this legislation which takes us down the wrong path towards less freedom.
