He has Toyko Rove on waaaaaaaaaay too much.
I guess Hannity fired himself from his prime time spot on Fox News.
Only to move in the near future to non-prime time.
I know all of this about each person you mentioned, and yet, I think they are all working to restore America and the Constitution. We are all imperfect human beings and run with feet of clay.I listen to all of them - so I can’t say I have a favorite - well, maybe Levin. I don’t agree with everything he says either but I am discerning enough to be able to pick and choose what and who I want to believe. I don’t throw them overboard for being human and making errors in judgment - no one is perfect - and I think Freepers would do well to remember this. It looks like Beck and Levin are now smoking the peace pipe -and I think Beck never gave Levin credit if he used something he said - so I think that was the root of their problem. Levin said he got a real nice not from Glenn and is going to give peace a chance. That’s the adult thing to do. Savage hates all of them and I think the feeling is mutual, and yet, I listen to him on occasion as well.
Hannity’s Rubio worship and his flip flopping on immigration “reform” was enough for me to tune out:
Hannity:
“Because, you know what, its got to be resolved. The majority of people here, if some people have criminal records you can send them home; but if people are here, law-abiding, participating for years, their kids are born here, you know, first secure the border, pathway to citizenship, done”
So, he was wrong on immigration. He has been right on a lot of issues. People on here just dump someone over one issue - and then its on to the next “perfect” person, until they say something they don’t agree with - then the cycle repeats itself.
People can listen to who they want - and none of us will ever agree 100% with anyone - some act more like libs when it comes to this kind of thing. The libs at least circle the wagons on their own. Not us - its throw them under the bus, eat them for lunch and then on to the next person -until that one makes an error. What a cycle!
Bravo! What a great summation of the talk-radio spectrum. The only thing I would add is the reminder that these are businesses and these are showmen. To paraphrase Rush, their jobs are to amass the biggest audience they can and hold it for as long as they can. I’m reminded of the following quote from an immortal Bay Area talk show host that applies to talk-show-hosts as well as politicians. He used to say:
“Never fall in love with a politician, they’ll break your heart every time.”
— Lee Rodgers RIP
Fair enough. If I'm in my truck and I'll tune into Hannity on occasion and I'll also listen to Savage and Rush if I have time.
