I did not attack you. I disagreed with your claim that NRT:C had elected public officials when the NRTLC is a castrated capon of a 501 (c) 3 or 501 (c) 4 and prohibited from making contributions or coordinating with candidates. If you think you proved anything, I would counter that you proved only that you are a legend in your own mind.

Did you serve as Kassebaum's treasurer? Or maybe moonlight for Sebelius when no one was looking? After all, to be a one man oompah band for NRTLC, a necessary credential is to establsh a "moderate" reputation, right? As someone or other once said: The French don't care what you DO actually so long as you pronounce it properly.

If you hurry, you can change your name to Ben Ghazi. That will enforce media silence about you and save you a lot of embarrassment.

Also, given the exchange on this thread, I am not likely to be your "buddy." Go off and try to make the Kansas GOP safe for "moderation" and accommodation and general discarding of principle for a "pragmatism" that is not even pragmatic.

What were YOU DOING during the Summer of Mercy at Wichita in 1991?

I understand that I have been expelled from the Bilderbergers, the Bavarian Illuminati and the Trilateral Commission even though I never even saw their storefronts.

EV:

As a mere Catholic, I defer to your probably greater expertise on Scripture. Didn't Jesus say somewhere something to the effect that: You are with Me or Against Me but if you are lukewarm, I will vomit you out of My mouth?

Revelation 3:14 “And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write,

‘These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: 15 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— 18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. 21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

22 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”’”

FOLKS... the devil is advancing against us and eating up God’s blessings leaving curses in his wake, can we possibly close ranks here. If you’re trusting on Jesus Christ for your personal salvation... you GOT the gospel power. Now it needs to be used.

How about for the Author of truth and principle?

If you folks really acknowledge Jesus’ supernatural power, you will. And it is a strange power to the world and to even our own minds in weak moments. It is a power to bless sinners out of their sin, vastly preferring that to cutting the sinners down. Remember that is how the “game” of gospel is played. It works, because Jesus is not make believe.

“What were YOU DOING during the Summer of Mercy at Wichita in 1991?”

read my profile.
I actually did MUCH more than nearly anyone else that I can think of.
You really are a presumptuous jerk.
If you are big enough to apologize I will be a man and accept it. I am guessing you are too petty and vindictive.

Also, You DID make a veiled threat about the IRS, as far as the mailing list work that I did, for political purposes.
I was a pioneer in such efforts, and many other groups began to do the same thing. I am not even a computer “geek” but I sought out experts to help me with my plan.

Yes, I am very blunt with idiots who attack conservatives who are trying to do a good job. I have paid my dues. I owe you NOTHING but my blunt opinion.

And you shall have it.

So should you be a full blown idiot or a lukewarm idiot?

Lets look at Peter in the Garden when Jesus told him to put away his sword. Jesus did not tell him to get rid of his sword, only to not use it.
Jesus didn’t say to Peter, “Chop that guys head off”.
Jesus didn’t say to Peter, “I am a pacifist and what are you doing with that sword anyway”
Instead, Jesus was LUKEWARM and simply told Jesus to put the sword away.
Zealots tend to be impatient idiots who do not every have a “plan be” or an endgame, Zealots are good a checkers and bad at Chess.
Zealots suck at strategy.

there’s no gratitude like the gratitude of a drowning man ... and if ever there was a drowning man it is the Church in Connecticut.

I’m sure the pro-family folks at the capitol are grateful for whatever votes they can get from whomever they can get them. It’s an oddball coalition of inner city DEMS and rural RINOs that manage to block much of the progressive agenda against the family and against the Catholic healthcare system.

Yet many of such people are picked off in primaries, etc. Indifference among the rank n file Christians as it happens.

The philosophy of the Brownies is a hybrid religion of religious-political beliefs ... it sure is a mortal sin to vote for someone who is a heretic. The Brownies ...too dedicated to their beliefs ... refusing to show up and vote ... cost us the Suzio Senate seat, cost us the Manchester senate seat, 45 votes. We’ve lost countless House seats this decade by 25 votes ... with minimal turnout rates. Good pro-life candidates.

a religion of non-participation. Judy has converted her followers. Voting is the near-occasion-of-sin and should be avoided and usually is. The more desparate CT becomes, the more comatose the Brownies get. Their churches will soon fall down on them as CT sinks into Transgender Nation. A Transgender secretary in every parish. Death panels in St. Raphael’s Hospital.

I think I’ll stick with the CDLC gun folks ... they are good in a crisis. They haven’t abandoned their post. Here in the Soviet Nutmeg State. Where our model Transgender Rights bill passed 77 to 74.

I actually agree with NRTL’s position. The purpose of NRTL is to advance the pro-life message — period. Taking positions on other issues (whether gay marriage, gun control, or whether Chicago pizza is better than NY pizza) distracts from it’s mandate.

If the NRA announced they were for abortion and gay marriage, they would lose a lot of members.

And if they announced they were AGAINST abortion and gay marriage, they would ALSO lose a lot of members. So, wisely, they stick with their mission and stay out of non-2nd-Amendment-related issues.

I bet I have been friendly with Len Suzio a lot longer than you have. That he was elected in a special in that very difficult district was a miracle. One hopes that he will be elected again next year. He long since abandoned all affiliation with the useless PLCC and I need more evidence that he was abandoned by CRTLC against a militant pro-abort. Provide evidence and I will take it up with CRTLC leadership.

Ditto the other close races but need exact details as to each.

The "Church in Connecticut" is responsible for its own status for good or for ill. The "Church in Connecticut" ought to be answering to at least as high an Authority as Judy Brown and probably is answering to exactly the same Authority. The late Archbishop Whealon was quite militant on life issues. If Archbishop Mansell has not matched his record, then hopefully Hartford's next archbishop will restore the militancy. Elections for public office will not do that only Pope Francis in conjunction with the Congregation on Bishops.

Who and what is "CDLC gun folks"???

If anyone tries to cram parishes with "transgender secretaries," that is why God invented the First Amendment and the federal courts via the Founding Fathers. The Knights of Columbus Supreme Headquarters is still in New Haven and has many, many councils throughout the state. They have turned out in force at the state capitol to prevent anti-Catholic legislation from even being considered. Give them something worthwhile and maybe they can be mobilized.

The Hospital of St. Raphael, now being owned by Yale-New Haven Hospital, is no more and is now the hospital of the antichrist. Mansell CAN probably be blamed for that but it had nothing to do with elections. The least he could have done was to arrange the removal of St. Raphael's name lest the social horrors of Yale-New Haven be blamed on the archangel.

In any event, if the CT GOP were to nominate John McKinney for Governor, why give such trash patronage when Governor Malloy is more of a Governor Malloy than John McKinney is. It would be the equivalent of arguing that Lowell Weicker was a smidgeon better than a demonrat opponent. If people refuse to vote for such trash locally or nationally for the Romneys and the McCains, don't blame those people, blame the spineless principle free GOP-E.

As to that transgender rights bill, did State Senate "GOP Leader" McKinney vote for it? Did House "GOP Leader" Lawrence Cafaro vote for it? How many other spineless creeps posturing as "Republicans" voted for it? There is your problem right there. They (and Rowland and Jerry Labriola, Jr., and others) have made the CT GOP as palatable as poisoned meat.

What you need is a coalition of gun folks, pro-lifers, pro-family folks, Catholics who have any business calling themselves Catholics, Evangelicals, Pentecostals, fired up and capable young people who can grasp the bill they are facing, anti-state income tax types, people who want to contain spending, good government goo-goos to cure vote fraud, and others. They have to agree to each others' agendas as members of the coalition despite probable personal disagreements. Pro-lifers support gun rights and gun owners (whatever their beliefs) support pro-life agenda, etc. The support is expressed by voting for coalition candidates who agree to support the agendas, all of them.

Did you actually say that it is a coalition of inner city Dems and rural RINOs who "manage to block much of the progressive agenda..?" What would relatively conservative rural Dems and actually CONSERVATIVE Republicans have been doing?

Get back to a Reagan agenda and you get back to Reagan majorities. Reagan swept Connecticut twice. We ran Weicker out of public life, despite the accommodationist efforts of Orrin Hatch and Barry Goldwater to convince us not to. Good principle makes good politics. Otherwise, as Ed Koch used to say of NYC after he was defeated in a primary by Dinkins, (Connecticut) will have to suffer.

How do you feel about NRTLC expelling organizations like the Cleveland Right to Life Committee that never affiliated with NRTLC in the first place? It makes as much sense as the National Rifle Association expelling the Trilateral Commission or the Knights of Columbus expelling a Masonic Lodge.
