None of this is sticking to Obama.
The IRS scandal did not stick either.
A couple of blurbs in a liberal rag and you are ready to gut the NSA.
“A couple of blurbs in a liberal rag and you are ready to gut the NSA.
You are living under a rock if you believe that. There have been THOUSANDS of articles in magazines, newspapers and online about the blatant violation of the 4th Amendment by the NSA.
I would GUT it with the fist of an angry God.
Not that particular one; the one I read had to do w/ a writer and her husband and was pulled as duplicate. I thought this one, of the same title, was that duplicate.
(She wanted to do some canning, and he was looking up backpacks [for hiking? School? Who cares.] and they got a visit from LEOs over it.)
Suffolk County Criminal Intelligence Detectives received a tip from a Bay Shore based computer company regarding suspicious computer searches conducted by a recently released employee. The former employees computer searches took place on this employees workplace computer. On that computer, the employee searched the terms pressure cooker bombs and backpacks.
Must be a different story. :(
The problem with secret operations is that they are cloaked in secrecy for a reason.
Some turd, exposes the operation and makes a wild accusation.
End result?
The operation gets scuttled, grave damage may result, lives could be endangered and in the end you will never get the truth, BECAUSE IT IS SECRET.
There is a lot of disinformation floating around and it is causing GRAVE DAMAGE.
IMHO
“The problem with secret operations is that they are cloaked in secrecy for a reason.”
I agree. If you are going to circumvent the Constitution and rights of +300 million American citizens (and most of the world too), you want to do it in secret.
“Some turd, exposes the operation and makes a wild accusation.
No accusations... actual documents.
“End result? The operation gets scuttled, grave damage may result”
We can only hope, but I doubt it.
“lives could be endangered and in the end you will never get the truth, BECAUSE IT IS SECRET.”
Lives are always endangered. Always will be. The revealed documents are facts. The problem is that it is being done in secret.
True enough. But Snowden, as his dad asserted, did not betray the people of the United States, he betrayed the federal government, currently headed by who?
Sadly, Jesus is not in charge of any Earthly Gov.
Men are.
Yeah, like his Dad would say “hang him” /s
His Father did ask him to shut up.
OK, your favorite radio blabbermouth (insert name here) ___________ also said it. Now it counts?
I believe the revealed documents are out of context, they are not seen within the purview of the entire operation.
Operatives have been warned off of looking at this stuff which is out of context.
The PRISM and NSA X-KeyScore Programs appear to be legit, otherwise the government would not, and could not bar servicemembers from accessing the information.
At this point in the game the government has proved itself to have a mind of lawlessness, so shouldn't that lawlessness result in egregiously unlawful acts/programs?
Imagine if you will, what chaos would ensue if someone, started a rumor that you were cheating on your wife, and they sent pictures of you with another woman.
They could be innocent pictures.
Now find a correspondence that has some racy humor in it, perhaps completely innocent.
Trust is gravely damaged.
Possibly. That is why we have oversight committees.
How could he have left any other impression? by adding “.. and it’s for your own good!”? or”but really, Big Brother is a nice guy.”?
I still think he’s an Obama/Hillary operative and it’s all part of the cover up for Obama and Hillary collaborating with the terrorist and planning the attack in Benghazi.
Look, I do not know what is going on, but if NSA has a microscope so far up ALL of our kiesters, how is it that the same guys missed the Tsarneav boys why Russia tipped us off to them and they were pretty much working in the open?
Something does not add up.
