"First Pelosi and her "pass it to find out what's in it" and now Obama saying "we'll like it after we try it."
If those two could speak to the unborn, they would make a similar argument favoring abortion. Unfortunately, the dependent citizens of an obamanation can be aborted at any age and it will probably be too late before they understand that.

Conservatives need to be ready for this to be a lot harder than they think.
People like Obamacare just fine so far -- ask anybody whose 24 year old kid can be on his insurance, or that 24 year old for that matter. People who for whatever reason were stuck with the (completely broken) individual issue insurance market are going to love the Exchanges at first because at first they are certain to be an improvement. If you qualify for a subsidy for Exchange-bought coverage, you'll like that even better.
It would be very easy for the number of people who feel they benefit from the Exchanges to be higher (and maybe much higher) than the number of people who are forced into part-time jobs from full-time by employers who fear the employer mandate.
The big fear -- that employers will outright drop coverage when they see the opportunity to do so -- is, for the moment, unfounded. It could happen, but it easily could not.
And, ultimately, conservatives need to fear Obamacare's failure, because if it fails, it will be portrayed like most every other liberal failure: NOT a reason to retreat, but in fact an excuse to push even more -- in this case, for "Medicare for all" -- a completely rate-regulated single-payer market.

What is missing in these discussions is what has already happened to the doctors and nurses in this mess. Regulations already in place are sucking the life out of medical care - practioners of medicine are being forced into tight, regulated practice rules about eligibility and documentation and “quality measures”. While the national discussion is about insurance and payments and such, the soul of medical care is being ravaged.

When it fails the same politicians in both parties will throw up their hands and say that single payer nationalized healthcare is the only solution.Maybe that was the plan all along.

Obama Realizes People Don't Like Obamacare Out of curiousity, would it be more expensive to have Universal Health CARE like Canada or the UK, as it would be to have Universal Health INSURANCE a/k/a 0bamacare? Consider including the cost of 16,000 or so new IRS enforcement officers. This should also include consideration for all the warts of Universal Health Care in practice, even if these abuses are of a different level from what we can expect from 0bamacare.

Hes done something worse than that. Hes created an entitlement mentality that features angry, self-absorbed people demanding ever greater benefits for not working. That is the real nail in the coffin. Once people become belligerent over their right to steal the fruits of other peoples labor, there is no hope.
We'll be Greece shortly. With the mobs rioting in the streets for their free money.

Obama can only pray you’re right. He’s been desperate to get riots going since he was elected. It’s a seminal part of the Alinsky/Marxist playbook. He seized on Trayvon in hopes of igniting a race war. Embarrassingly, w all the astroturfing he only managed to get “hundreds” at the protests.
That only leaves, as you pointed out, the Greek option. You can be sure the Community Organizer is working overtime to figure out how to maximally agitate the takers against the producers. It is his last, best hope. We’ll see how it plays out.

ObamaCare's a new skim.,
Ask any health insurance company what their 'bottom line' would look like if they brought in millions of healthy young people and got them buy health insurance.
Obama and dems will treat this slush fund the same way they treat the Social Security 'trust' fund. Money will come in and they'll grab it out the second it hits the box and spend it on other things.
In a few years democrats will be talking about health care being an 'entitlement' - and young people who paid in all these years will be told it's going to be 'means tested' meaning they'll have to buy private insurance but the people in Detroit will be insured for free forever.

When Obamacare is implemented, it might be the last straw to further destroy the economy - then he’ll get what he wants. A reason to impose martial law - and suspend elections indefinetly.
