While I understand how incrementalism can eventually work, and seems better than nothing, or the best you can get at the time, the words of Mark Crutcher, founder of Life Dynamics, really struck a chord with me.
“and THEN you kill the baby”.
In other words, any law which after you meet all it’s requirements, if you can still say “and THEN you kill the baby”, it isn’t an anti abortion law worth supporting. Like so called partial birth abortion. Banning it, while sounding good, does nothing. You just kill the baby a different way.

You forgot the most important point...the part of the bill which states no court may even take a case relating to the topic.
Otherwise, it’d be another instance of judicial activism and Congress just throws up their hands “Well, we TRIED”
