February 2012, Mr. Martin wrote that he had been suspended from school for cutting classes. In the messages, he said his mother had “kicked” him out of the house and told him to move in with his father. In one message, Mr. Martin described himself as “gangsta.” Other text messages refer to his involvement in fights and reveal an interest in guns, including an exchange about possibly buying one, referring to it as a .380.
Earlier, in a separate text, he asked whether a friend had a gun.
“U gotta gun?” he asked the friend on Feb. 18, 2012. His friend replied, “It my mommy but she buy for me.”
“She let u hold it?” Mr. Martin asked. “Yea,” the friend replied. “But she keep it,” Mr. Martin said. “Yea,” the friend texted back.
Mr. Martin, 17, also texted that he smoked marijuana, which was revealed in toxicology reports. At one point, he mentioned that he had it wrapped up for the bus ride from Miami, where he lived, to Orlando, where he was going to stay with his father for a while during his suspension from school in February 2012.
If these racist race-baiters can ignore Trayvon’s culpability in his own death, they can ignore the lousy job they did raising him.

Ah yes, Sybrina Fulton the mother who kicked Trayvon out of the house because he was getting into trouble and she could not control him. Sent him up to live with his daddy in Sanford Florida who is shacking up with another woman who was paying the bills. I still not have heard what job the father held down.
I wish the media would stop acting like she is June Cleaver and Trayvon was just a small child innocently tiptoeing through the tulips. There is much to the story that is always conveniently left out. Such as why he was even at his father’s girlfriend’s house (his mother sent him there after he was suspended from school). That he had pot in his system when he died. That he appeared high and swaying back and forth on the convenience store tape.
She has also been awarded a $1 million payout from the neighborhood association, if I remember correctly. I am truly sorry her son died, but it seems to me that continuing to push false narratives and stoking the flames of racial tension is not a way to ‘honor’ his memory.
