It appears that he socked her with his left fist, knocking her back, then she raised the rifle, but they interrupted the video of the shooting.

The brother of the guy that was shot and killed (I refuse to call him a victim) seems remarkably calm about the entire event; almost as if it was just another day in the ‘hood.

Apparently the victim was at the convenience store to pick up a pack of cigarettes, when he decided it would be a nifty idea to physically accost a woman with a loaded rifle.

In Texas (as in many other states), one of the questions on a death certificate that is to be answered by the medical examiner is "Did Tobacco Use Contribute to Death?" In this case, the answer should be either "Yes" or "Probably." ;-)

Notice how the media love to use the word “toting” when describing a person possessing a gun? As if there’s a negative connotation to the word “toting”.

Do we ever hear them describe liberal protesters as sign “toting”?

Or the guy who carries the nuclear football, ever heard of him “toting” it?

Or passengers carrying luggage. Never read about passengers “toting” their luggage through the airport.

Black on black killing here...she stood her ground I guess. He walloped her so hard she fell back five feet. In the heat of the moment she shot and killed him. On a rational level she should not have been in fear of her life but no court will convict her. Will she even be charged?

Roughly similar to Treyvon being killed. Trey thought he could beat the crap out of a pudgy older white man and not suffer any negative consequences.
