Does anyone get “Guns & Gear” TV or “Gun Talk Television”, on any CommieCast station, at any level? I can’t find either on any of the Basic, Digital, PPV etc for my local York-Lancaster-Harrisburg area.
Anyone seen them yet?
I signed-up for the basic Gun Talk TV Account, tonight.
Howdy from a Hawkeye in the Buckeye State, by way of the Cornhusker State. Time to round ‘em up and have a real bang-up of a Sunday evening.
CH I do not.
yeah, but you have that every morning, probably, so we’ll have to flag you for delay of game. LOL
Hiya Born a Buckeye here.
Superb choice. I’m going to have that with Cap’n Crunch sprinkles, tomorrow! And I’ll note it on my calendar.
Naw, I usually eat better than that.
It’s the damned ‘retirement’ that killing me. I could manage 10-30 million-dollar projects simultaneously, and bring them all in, while starting a newer, bigger group, but after 2yrs, the edge is getting less sharp.
You skinny guys can get away with eating anything.
Lucky dog!
I hear ya! I have to make myself work the word Jumble in the newspaper just to make sure the synapses are still firing!
I like some eggs over easy with Tabasco, rye toast and hash browns.
Mmmmmm fattening.
Ooo, spiffy. What is the caliber?
After the rioting in Houston last weekend and zero trying to stir up the concrete jungle inhabitants, I took the plunge and ordered two extra mags for my Glock 30. I went with the extended Glock 21 types and a Fobus paddle double mag holder.
I found the mags at Natchez supply. Midway nor CTD had any in stock at the time.
Finally received reloading equipment from Midway USA that I'd had on order for four months, a 9mm die set and a Lee hand press.
Who would have ever thought that it would take that long to receive such common reloading items...
Dude, that sounds like what I had the other day.
.45
I sold my Para Ordnance yesterday and wanted either a commander or officer sized 1911 for a truck gun.
I’ve been debating a 1911. I haven’t convinced myself yet.
You need a Coonan .357 Magnum Automatic.
I first ‘became’ a Buckeye when I emigrated here from the Hawkeye habitation in 1962 after graduating in Ch E from Iowa State (Cyclones). My son, 7 months old when we came, grew up here and considers himself a Buckeye. He was eight years in the Corps and has been a Deputy Sheriff for some years now. I talk to him for advice on guns, and once in a while I even teach him something new. Some years down the road he will inherit a nice collection, and I add to it once in a while.
The interesting thing about this is that two years ago I had never owned a gun. At last count I could say that until my boating accident last week I had four semi-automatic pistols, three shotguns, and five rifles.
My son carries a 357 magnum. He likes the revolver, and beats his buddies speed and accuracy wise in competition. Says he practices a lot...reloading. He is faster than the guys with semi’s.
He really likes the SA XD-45 I had before the accident, and would carry one if it were ok with the dept. They have Glocks, and he does not like the Glock...hence the 357...
Now me, I’m a few years out of shape, but my skills from a long time ago (Army) are not forgotten, and I can still hit the target. I have an improvised range in my ‘front yard’ where we live in the country, with a hill for a backstop. Once in a while I shoot at targets rather than the ground hogs, raccoons, and coyotes that sometimes plague us. Our horses let us know when the coyotes are about.
I’d like to know how that Lee hand press works out for you.
