No one has mentioned the fact that she has exceeded beyond most black teenagers...she is NOT a high school dropout. Give her credit for sticking with it this far even though she may not have absorbed all the information that has been provided by her teachers. Her school system and teachers have failed her and many others. Most others like her have bailed out long before age 19. She may not be the brightest but she does have perseverance. Apparently she intends to graduate high school in about another year. Whether she graduates Magna Cum Laude or as just another below average student is up to her.
