I agree with you that in the trial the preponderance of evidence proved GZ innocent but a not guilty verdict does not say that. A not guilty verdict just says that the prosecution did not prove its case beyond a reasonable doubt.
Juan Williams and Geraldo are wrong GZ was not found not guilty on a technicality he was found not guilty by a jury. A technicality would be judge releasing him because of a mistake by the prosecutor (which could have happened if GZ was found guilty). Geraldo should know better.
And I hope and pray it is not too late.
Because of the Stand Your Ground Law this case should never have gone to trial.
I hope that we now will hear the reason that MOM decided to wave the hearing that they could have had under the Your Ground Law. The case could have been thrown out after that (If I understand the law correctly)
