Because we are all expected to cry for Trayvon’s family. If anyone elicited sympathy from George’s... well, that would just be racist.

"Alicia Martin spoke to CBS4’s Peter D’Oench on Thursday, just one day after Special Prosecutor Angela Corey announced Zimmerman had been charged with second degree murder.

“I didn’t give birth to him but he was my son,” said Martin. “To know that he died the way that he died, he shouldn’t have never died like that.”

Martin said Trayvon lived in her home off and on for the last five years and they were very close.

“He was at my house every day, every night. I took care of him. My kids grew up with him. We grew up as a family. We were a family.”"

<< But she got dats bank!! A million dollahs tuh split wif dat baby daddy. Jes ax her! >>

Seriously? Just tell me one thing... I know this is a wild and wooly internet forum, but is there even one positive thing to be gained or achieved by mocking a black person in ebonics-speak? I see people here posting the GIF of the little black boy saying, “That’s racist.” Maybe that should apply to your comment? What’s the difference?

Go ahead, get defensive and tell me to go to hell, and then I’ll mind my own business. But just so you know, it’s comments like yours that is THE reason why i never suggest FR to conservatives any more. Even if they’re starving for the truth, i would’nt. I can’t. And that’s just sad.

If you’re a true FReeper, that will bother you that your comment is indistinguishable from one made by a paid troll.

The worst part is that it plays into how the media portrays anyone who disagrees with Obama or the left/liberal spin that sucks all of the air out of the culture.

We must be careful to not give our enemies one iota of ammo.

Under Florida law, the parents of the victim are allowed in the courtroom even if they are to be called as witnesses.

No offense, but the internet is not a place for people who take offense easily. It’s a tough, wild west kind of place. It created (or at least evolved) the word “hater” to put the onus on those making critical comments. Self appointed sheriffs are not embraced, nor are those who attempt to grade each post according to their own standards. If you don’t like a particular post, I can respect that, but passing over posts you don’t like is the internet way or else there would be literally millions of posts debating the merits of each and every post. There still is a first amendment.

Branca has done great work in covering this trial, and analyzing all the legal issues in a way that many can understand...except maybe a TrayBot

If he actually is the close observer of the trial that he purports to be, he’d know the correct misspelling by now.

Seriously.

Now we know why Alicia Martin has been ostracized and physically threatened into silence —

She spoke up the other night in an interview. Will she continue???

“One cannot but draw the natural parallel–just as Trayvon Martin sought to punish George Zimmerman and discovered at the cost of his life that Zimmerman was not the easy target he’d perceived him to be, now it is the turn of Zimmerman’s defense team to similarly disabuse the State prosecutors.”

EXCELLENT!
