I heard a lawyer on Greta's show last night say that the high bar for convicting has to be "depraved indifference."
So, I ask the readers of this post, has the prosecution proved that George Zimmerman showed depraved indifference towards Trayvon Martin?
And not an inconsistency here and there in his testimony, but outright depravity towards Martin?
As was pointed out by some yesterday (maybe even you), the measure is "beyond a reasonable doubt," not "wiggle room to convict."

Why don’t the bad ones go to the live chats on the online streaming trial shows, and leave the rest of us in peace? They can squabble, bicker, type in all caps there.
I know the answer to that one. They will get blocked, dumped, and moderated out of there. We don’t even have an ignore button, for heaven’s sake!
If that were to happen, might Zimmerman's lawyers reconsider holding a stand your ground hearing, which they waived this time around?

They can pursue sanctions after the trial is over. Doing anything now would be exremely prejudicial.

Pretty emotional , isn't it ? What I find interesting is that the most bickering/name-calling/shouting comes from the females.

I'm not trying to make the females on here mad, I love you all. It's just that I notice a big shift to mostly female posters during the day.
Nope, yesterday and today was the last straw.
Too many stupid posts to wade through to find the intelligent thoughtful ones.
And, remember, I am older than dirt, so time is precious.
Just because someone took a criminal justice class does not mean they know or understand the law. I took courses in all kinds of crap when I was in Law School and promptly forgot 90% of it an hour after final exams.
There is no way Zimmerman’s participation in some general education course on Criminal Justice can be used to prove some motive in this case. Even if the curriculum stated that this was a subject that would be covered in class, it doesn’t mean that it was. Throughout my entire education probably half the stuff that was in the curriculum was never taught. There wasn’t enough time to cover it all and even if they covered it, it is entirely speculative that anyone learned anything about it.
