Wondering where this troop’s leaders stand on the ‘new’ scouts !?
Just saying ... the Lord works in mysterious ways.

I don’t know why “homosexual agenda” has anything to do with this story. This is about kids who were signed up for this camp months ago.

I think the idea that God would target kids for electrocution because of stances taken by the Grand High Poobahs of their organization, which the boys were not responsible for, nor even remotely able to prevent --- is idiotic.
Sorry.
And insulting to God.

This is the other camp at the Griswald Scout Reservation, higher up in the hills. Our Troop always went to Camp Hidden Valley.
I feel bad for the boys and their leaders. I especially feel bad for the camp director. He is a very devout Catholic and a decent guy. The despicable actions of the National Council put all of the full-timers in a tough position.
Looking back, my son, the Eagle Scout, and I had some wonderful times up at the reservation. Those are decent memories that the homo-lovers at the National Council cannot take away.

Those were vicious storms for the Red Hampshire area...nasty winds even some distance from the actual storms.

I mentioned to my wife that there was lightening and severe rain cells driving home through Andover yesterday, around 7:00 PM. She was surprised, because in Boxborough, 20 miles away, the weather was completely calm. This was an isolated storm.
I agree, God was not expressing displeasure with decisions made by adults a thousand miles away in Dallas.

The Øbama crowd will probably move to eliminate the Boy Scouts now... for their own safety... after all we know Øbama holds folks who promise:
On my honor,
I will do my best
To do my duty to God
and my country
and to obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times;
To keep myself physically strong,
mentally awake,
and morally straight.
In very high regard...

These are children who were struck by lightning. They weren't targets for a vengeful God and it is disgusting to suggest so. But let's look at what Jesus says when these accusations are made:
Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. Jesus answered, "Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them--do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish."

What is it with tornadoes and trailer parks and lightening strikes and scouts?

Back off Gerrycycle.
It is NOT a prayer.
A prayer is: "A solemn request for help or expression of thanks to...(sometimes God).
It is an Oath or Promise.
Those too should not be taken lightly, and I wasn't... Øbama does take them very lightly.

My only wish is that none of the kids were severely injured and that each of them will make a rapid and complete recovery.

It is also what I said. Who do you think you are making a oath to when you say those words? God hears it.
