i guess they need higher taxes to fix this. lol
I think I'll do okay. I have welding equipment and scrap metal tubing. Just what is needed to armor up a truck or car, in trade to others.
I used to ask my wife what the heck was she doing saving all those copper pennies, they’re worthless. She’s filled several two-foot high jugs with them, too heavy to move. Then the price of copper went sky-high and I didn’t heckle her any more. Not to mention all the nickels, and silver-content coins. Her obsession with keeping coin change can’t be taxed!
are they still copper?
I have a relative who was born with a horseshoe stuck up his backside. He plays one of the local numbers games - dunno which one, never asked - and he figures that he's about breaking even, over time, as he's made a couple of decent scores.
He's also certain that he's going to hit the jackpot one day. If anyone will, it's this guy. He's the kind of guy who goes to Vegas / Atlantic City *planning* to pay for the trip with his winnings. You know the type....someone who can look at a row of slots, say, ".......ehhhhh.....this one.", throw a couple of bucks in it, and walk away with a couple of thousand in his pocket. I've seen him do it, more than once.
Irish Luck, I guess. Wish I knew his secret. Fortunately for the Lotto People, there aren't many like him. :-)
