"Friends,
Tonight, with ALL of your help, support and efforts YOU stopped Medicaid Expansion ( Obama Care) in the State of Michigan..... AGAIN ! Freedom Fighters in The State Senate lead by Senator Pat Colbeck stopped GoverNERD Rick " Jennifer" Snyder from implementing his Freedom Stripping Agenda...... AGAIN !
America was watching if the Obama loving " Conservative" Snyder would be able to overrule the previous rejection of Medicaid Expansion ( Obama Care) by The Senate and the citizens of Michigan.... tonight The GoverNERD was stuffed !
The GoverNERD is NOT a happy NERD tonight.... in fact, from a member of the press present at his" humiliating loss press conference" .... it appears the NERD threw a huge hissy-fit tantrum..... so now it is time for a name change..... no more GoverNERD..... now it is Gov.TantrumNERD. The nerve of the Senate to listen to the people of Michigan and not the Mussolini of Michigan.
Dave Janda"

I got the distinct impression that the Tough Turd was pissed from his tweets on twitter.

An emotional governor accused Republicans of a lack of leadership for worrying more about their primaries next year than the hundreds of thousands of people who would be covered by the expansion.... But instead have to resort to the emergency room for everything. "But how are you going to feel if we do nothing and you walk in there and you see chair after chair of working poor people, hard-working people sitting in those chairs, knowing that's their health care system when we could have given them a better answer?"
An excellent question. Ask Obama.

Republican in Snyder’s case was just a means to get elected, NOT an idealogy.

He’s done some good things but there’s a reason FReeper Jenk calls him Rick (I’ll take it from here) Snyder. After all he dragged his feet on RTW till he had no choice but to sign it.

You can get treated if you need care.
Cut a deal with local non profit hospital upfront .
They have to wheel and deal with you.
It’s better if its a district / county facility that will give you the best rate which is Medicaid rate .
Which is a great rate and ask for a payment plan .
Private doctors office are usually difficult .

I called every Senator in the state and voiced my opinion. Called each Repub senator and left vm on personal cell phones and home phones. Spoke to over 50 delegates in my district and i would bet they ALL called their senator. The for/against % was about 5/95. In the words of J Biden.....this was a prety big f’n deal. More fighting to come!

Im without insurance and in need of medical care but Obamacare is not the right thing to do.ObamaCare is a vehicle, a means to an end.
It's about many things; it's not about health care.
I wish you well.
