It may be possible to defend the country but when Traitors are called hero's by those claiming to be Conservative I am not hopeful.

For you America is no longer great nor seemingly needs to be Defended at all costs. Throughout our history civil liberties have been trampled in war time but the country survived and it will do so again.

The immediate threat is radical Islamists bent on killing us all. We cannot afford isolationism or pacifism to creep into in our national defense in the name of protecting the Constitution.

I fear the government more than I fear Al Qaeda.

“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.” ~ Benjamin Franklin

Stand up for your rights instead of hiding under your bed anytime you hear the word “terrorist”. Who do you agree with, Benjamin Franklin or Obama?

Well stated.

IMHO, either the NSA has sunken far below they ever imagined or there is something wrong with the reports.

Hard to believe they’re paying $200k/annum salary to a GED holding HS dropout with only a handful of community college course credits, as though he is a senior analyst in db management for a job in Hawaii when the market is glutted with out of work Sr Analysts from world league institutions.

Considering the amount of press he’s been given, when there are multiple national and world league, well documented, criminal abuses by this Administration, and I’m led to believe this is all a controlled disinformation campaign intended to shift political momentum against institutions which might actually be defending the Constitution.

>> Naive is comparing the NSA to the IRS.

The NSA does not prosecute nor tax. It’s the abuse by others of the information it is authorized to gather that is the problem.

Blaming the NSA for the alleged privacy violations is like blaming the gun for the shooting. It is Congress that has the crosshairs on privacy.

The immediate threat is radical Islamists bent on killing us all.

Not all of us. We have some in our government who are on their side and working on their behalf. Ft. Hood was "workplace violence"?? Really?!?

What you believe and the things you are saying here to support your beliefs were true at one time, but this is a different world now and this country is now under very different management.

"It's 11:59 on Radio Free America; this is Uncle Sam, with music, and the truth until dawn. Right now I've got a few words for some of our brothers and sisters in the occupied zone:

"The chair is against the wall. The chair is against the wall."
"John has a long mustache. John has a long mustache."

"It's twelve o'clock, American, another day closer to victory. And for all of you out there, on, or behind the line, this is your song:"

I agree. It’s the opposite of treason to point out this tyranny that is hiding behind the flag of our great US of A. Where have we gone?

" I’m more worried that people will take the Paul’s seriously."

Whether we should take Ron Paul seriously or not, a clock is right twice a day.
In just this one case Ron Paul is right.

Radical Islam could care less what “management” the country is under, our domestic politics have little or no effect on their goal of the total destruction of the west...

of the 47 Snowden has, only 4 were presented in his power point...seems to be if neither news organization would publish them...there’s a reason for that...I agree that some things need to be kept secret.

It’s the other 40 odd Snowdens points that weren’t revealed that would qualify him as a traitor.

I agree.....there was a solid reason why neither news organizations would reveal his other 40 odd points and only published the same 4...... As was stated...”some things are meant to be secret”.

I somehow believe better minds than his prevailed...at least at this time.

China and Russia would love to have this guy...he’s a walking target no matter where he goes....and he knew that would be.

I’ve been posting some facts about this guy people don’t want to hear...they are in the hero worship mode and not thinking....nor are they looking into what this guy is about further.

I’ve been doing so and the picture isn’t pretty....

Keep them engaged and don’t let up Montana Joe....they will see in time.

off point, are you serious, for crying out loud the 4th amendment ignored , that alright with you is it because they have done it before even though they said they were not doing it?

And 5th*, and 6th**, heck they're even setting things up so that they can violate Ex Post Facto law prohibitions.

No, this PRISM thing is an assault and overthrow of the Constitution itself.

** - A secret court. Secret, as in you are not informed of the charges against you. As in you are not given the ability to compel your own witnesses.
* - Because they're using your own communications to testify against you w/o due process of law (see the 6th).

He had a security clearance..look up what it means. He is a traitor

The Constitution has a very specific definition of treason. Please show how he meets the requirements of this definition.
