You’d be surprised. In the ocean sharks appear out of nowhere. Likewise political opportunists will come from the dark edges to join in a feeding frenzy should it reach that point. I hope it does......

In the ocean they do. Sharks can smell blood from miles away in minute amounts.
So can democrats.
Republicans just seem to kind of go d’uuuuuuuuuuh.

Have Gov. Kasich send the Nat’l Guard to raid the Cinci IRS office, to collect Servers and Desk Top computers.

So what are they going to do about it? Cry like babies.
If one did not know better, one would think the House and Senate
work for the IRS, instead of the opposite.

Need to send the Master-at-Arms and a bunch of burly types to the IRS and grab docs and computers, while completely wrecking the place.
Hey, they’d do it a private citizen without a second though.

Seriously - I doubt anyone in Congress has enough cajones to run up against the IRS.Why would they want to have crates?
Maybe you mean cojones?

The IRS did not keep adequate records or receipts for the conferences, and nearly $200,000 in spending is unaccounted for.Try to use THAT excuse on your next tax returns.
What's the penalty?
Whoever "approved" those expenses should suffer the exact penalty a regular citizen faces.
No excuses.
No extensions.
No mercy.
In the words of that great statesman, Diane Feinswine...
IT'S THE LAW!! DEAL WITH IT!!!

It’s called the Treasure of Sierra Madre. But you’re thinking of the right movie with Bogart and the gold.
To: zerosix
Yep. The Obama IRS is testing the resolve of the Congress...just as Holder did and still does.
But the pressure is building.
To: Ingtar
I do not believe that the Senate has any independent resources to use.I find it impossible to believe that a corrupt, rogue Attorney General has the entire country under his boot.
I believe that any honest federal court judge can perform the task.
If Holder interferes, he's not only gone, but doing hard time.
Not to derail the thread, but Congress has the power to define what the Supreme Court may rule on ---- or NOT.

That line in the story jumped out at me too, and I was just about to call attention to it, but you had already done so.
It is like the “Cupid Shuffle Dance Video.” In a news report one woman on the street shown the video and asked for her reaction, said she didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

What documents? Theyve probably all been deleted, shredded, destroyed, blown up or burned. Those would just produce additional felony charges.
I'm beginning to like this defiance by the criminal thugs.
I always wondered what the fallout would be when they did that.
POPCORN!!
