Yeah, Glocks make good depdendable truck guns, but they aren’t all that cheap. They run north of $500 dollars these days. For that price, you can buy 2 or 3 High-points and 250 rounds of ammo. If the first High-point jams, toss it and keep trying each until one works. LOL.
This is a job for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.
“.....but don’t police need a search warrant or probable cause to search the driver’s cab of a truck?”
I was wondering the same thing. Did they ask to search, and did the driver give permission? Otherwise, it’s an illegal search, no?
Here in Maine, the State Police have weigh stations they set-up from time to time. They weigh the truck to make sure it’s not above the weight limits for the road or highway, but other than that, the police are basically checking those things that affect the safe operation of the truck.....brakes, tires, etc.
I’ve never heard of them searching the driver’s cab / sleeping area.
“Friends dont let friends buy rotten guns.”
Here’s video showing a hi-point getting the ultimate test, including getting run over by a truck...

So far, every case of gun owner intimidation and or arrest that I have read about since the new NY gun grab law went in to effect has been done by NY State Police.
The same State Police that shall be from this day forward know as the “Stasi” in honor of their heroes, the former East German police organization of the same name.
Failed my standards at the first malfunction/doublefeed jam.
It may be state of origin profiling, which would be a violation of the P or I clause.
