Well said.

The corporations may have a hard time convincing Congress our STEM graduates are inferior due to the point Ms. Schlafly makes about the Ph.D. one year program foreign students can enroll in here. And if in fact foreign students are superior than students here at home, why do they pay them less money? Seems they want it both ways.

This is happening in other specialized fields as well. The hospital where I worked as a medical transcriptionist for 7 years shut down the entire department 2-1/2 years ago and now the work is being done by MTs in India. The company facilitating this is Focus Infomatics (an Indian-based company) which partners with Nuance (Dragonspeak) and Dictaphone. This is SOP in the MT industry now, and it has forced wages down to where they were when I began my MT career in 1985 - about $8 an hour.
