Yes, he was in D.C. but he was still in charge of AFRICOM.
Probably there temporarily on some sort of joint/allied training, I would guess.
In my opinion, Issa needs to find his nads ASAP. So, far, NADA and that goes for the entire GOP food chain.
Your whole post is DFO (Dead ... On).
In the fullness of time, it may very well come to be seen that Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods are the incarnation of Lt. Johnny Dahlquist.
Here is where the true jeopardy lies for the regime/zero.Where was Waldo when the shot hit the fan!!

Obama Conspired with US Enemies and Staged Bogus Attack to Kidnap Ambassador and Negotiate Hostage Release Just Prior to Election

Yes..that was the rumor. He may have been forced into retirement ‘officially’. I agree..he holds the key...maybe the most important key.
I don’t think it was incompetence I think it was necessary collateral damage. They didn’t want the world to know what Stevens real job in Benghazi was.

Elections have consequences. Little barry bastard boy brought to the government a theme, to lie whenever it suits him. He knew he had the fifth column media enemy of We The People to cover his lies as truth or dissemble opposition to the lies whenevr he commands it. So the underlings are merely following regime modus operendi when they lies repeatedly. At least we are finding out which of the upper brass are soul out to lie their way to promotion rather than honor their oaths. It’s a good thing to weed out those without honor in the military.
Here is a video of Rep. Chaffetz saying that Gen. Ham, commander of AFRICOM at that time, told him that assets were near enough to help and ready to go.There is no doubt whatsoever that the assets were in motion preparing to receive an order to go.AFRICOM leader General Carter Ham was never given the order to secure the consulate in Benghazi. Adm. James Lyons (Ret.) on Growing Benghazi Scandal
ADMIRAL LYONS: All those comforting words that We dont want to put our forces at risk. We had people at riskthey were crying for help! In a situation, you go with the resources you have availableand, in this particular case, we did have that 130-man Marine force recon team sitting there at Sigonella. Even if I only got 50 of them over there, that would have been significant in turning the situation around. We may not have been able to save the ambassador, but we certainly could have saved those other two SEALs that were over on the annex.
ADMIRAL LYONS: In perpetuating this lie, we also had administration officials lying to Congressional committees. Thats a felony. So, What difference does it make? It makes all the difference in the world. You cannot flaunt the truth here, just walk away from it and, basically, tell the American public to stuff it. Thats not acceptable.
The point on the organizing the two Marine anti-terrorist teams in Rota, that was good to go ahead and stand em up. What I find incomprehensible: The first team, it took them 23 hours to go a few hundred miles from Rota to Tripoli. I could go around the world in 23 hours, so that makes absolutely no sense to me.
Agreed, thanks for the summary
They can’t be allowed to get away with saying no help was possible. That is a huge lie. Lack of funding for security before the attack is also a huge bald faced lie. The evidence contradicting both of those excuses is overwhelming and already fully available publicly. Hillary refused to protect her staff. 0bama refused to act when they were under attack. End of that story.
Good article ping.
We know there were at least two orders to stand down.
1. CIF elements assigned to AFRICOM were aleady mobilizing when they were ordered to stand down.
2. Admiral Gaouette was mobilizing his aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis and its battle group when he was ordered to stand down.
So far, with all the hours of Congressional hearings, and the attendant investigations, no one has answered the question of WHO gave these orders to stand down and by what authority such orders were given.
Name them.
why is their location revealed?
>>>Subpoena the Admiral>>>
YES, let’s hear it from him.
I was thinking , I would love to see the search warrant that allowed the monitoring of te CIA directors email. Who’s signature is on that one? Same judge as James Rosen ya think?
Thank you for your diligence on this subject. I have followed your comments since the event. You are truly a Patriot.
Exactly.
Rudy Guilianni was on Hannity's radio show the other day talking about how he and the NYPD police chief responded to NYC hostage crises. He pointed out that they ordered available response teams to go on high alert and to prepare all avenues of response because they had no idea at the beginning of a crisis how long it would last - three hours or three days. They needed all teams to ready if and when the call came in.
That seems an obvious decision to us and military personnel, but when Leon Panetta testified before Congress that there was not enough time, he clearly based that assessment on the timeframe of the attacks that was known afterward. Their excuse is that anything they tried wouldn't have been in time.
That's irrelevant. They did not know at the beginning of the crisis how long it would last. What they did know was that the Benghazi "diplomatic facility" was inadequate to hold off a substantial and protracted attack. So they knew or should have suspected that anyone trapped inside would likely - almost certainly - die, given the number and type of arms initially reported to be in use by the attackers. Scott Strickland certainly knew because after escaping the facility himself, he went back several times trying to find Stevens and Smith. The CIA agents at the annex knew because they headed to the facility in an armored SUV to attempt a rescue.
Forget history judging them harshly, we can judge them harshly now and we could have judged them harshly at the time.
