That pesky “terrorism” thing just won’t go away. It makes me wonder what actually causes it. Any ideas?
To: Altariel
It will last long enough so that the people who lived in freedom will have died, and the people living will have known nothing else.

I just wonder when ‘dissent’ or “asserting Constitutionally protected rights” will become a marker for ‘terrorism suspect’... oh, right it already happened with that DHS report on Right Wing Extremism.

Immigration was the tool the left used to destroy us, it not only created voters for their goals, but created the “permanent” problems that 1970 Americans never dreamed of, and the “permanent” changes required to deal with these new problems that were totally alien and impossible in 1970 America.
We could always have spurts of something among ourselves as we continued improving and growing, always advancing, but who could have dreamed of importing to the level of being colonized, the actual peoples of the violent third world and Islam?
America stopped advancing decades ago, now we are decaying, and changing into something base and primitive, ugly, unrecognizable, yet the immigrants will continue to come by the millions, the tens of millions, the hundreds of millions, because we are still at a level which their own cultures will never achieve.

That pesky terrorism thing just wont go away. It makes me wonder what actually causes it. Any ideas? Bush's fault! He told us this would happen. We should never occupy. We should use missiles and air power to flatten, level, sink, crush our enemy's might. Then airdrop small arms to rebel groups and let them sort out their society. After a couple of examples are made, our enemies will stay clear of us.

First the WOD declared 50% of American Citizens criminals.
Now the WOT is going for the other 50.

The war on terror? What a joke.
More Americans are TERRIFIED of the IRS and EPA than of any rag-headed group from the sand-pile.
Hitler had the Gestapo....we have the IRS and EPA.
Now, that’s true terror.

In practical terms this is Cold War catch up. During the CW, for propaganda reasons, the Soviet Union spent billions of dollars to convince the rest of the world that the CIA was omnipotent and omniscient. But the irony was that this persuaded many troublemakers to not make trouble in the first place.
While the overt and covert WoT has done much to attack the actual Islamist fighters, it has made the glaring omission of not assassinating the instigators, financiers, and other powerful supporters of terrorism.
Anywhere in the world, if an Imam spouts off about attacking America, his days should be numbered. Properly, it should look like an accident, to the point where their superstition engages, that “talking smack about the US is very bad luck.”
The same applies to Saudi princelings, radical Pakistani madrassas schools, and quite a laundry list of people who would not be missed.

Islam has been at war with the US since the days of the Barbary pirates when we were a fledgling nation. The USA has only recognized we are in a battle for our lives which will last as long as Islam is a viable force.

Last October, senior Obama officials anonymously unveiled to the Washington Post their newly minted "disposition matrix", a complex computer system that will be used to determine how a terrorist suspect will be "disposed of": indefinite detention, prosecution in a real court, assassination-by-CIA-drones, etc.

The assumption that Islam is in view is a tad naive at best.

The "War on Terror" is a permanent feature of foreign policy. We cannot deal with it because we refuse to recognize it for what it is, the current iteration of Islam's war against the rest of the world. We will have it to fight until we understand that we must deprive the Islamic countries and leaders of the resources to fight the war. We have to quit showering them with wealth. If we must have their oil then we must colonize the oil lands and take the oil.
To Moslem societies wealth beyond enough to support a tiny ruling class in splendor and the population in bare subsistence must and will be used to conquer, enslave, convert, and/or kill all the non mohamedans in the world. It has been thus for 1400 years and will not change now.
Understanding this and fighting this war as if we mean to survive, i.e. cutting off the money and inflicting total military defeat on the strongest and or most belligerent saracen entity- Iran at the moment- will get a respite for Civilization, but even then will not win it for all time. To do that Islam would have to be expunged.
The war of Islam against the world will end when all the world is Mohammedan or no one is.

Water seeks its own level. If barriers are not maintained the detritus of the third world will flow to the locus of wealth until the wealth is evened out, until there is only third world. It will be evened out to a thin stratum of extreme wealth and power and 99% bare subsistence, very like the ideal Mohammedan world.

Terrorism is a tactic. The cause of the troubles of the present world is ISLAM and the excess wealth which has been acquired by the saracen countries. Moslem lands are quiescent so long as they possess just enough wealth to support a tiny ruling class in splendor and a population at bare subsistence. When conquest or theft and selling of resources gains the paynim more than that minimum the excess goes to- must go to- conquest and jihad in order to acquire more wealth which then feeds into jihad. The West is currently financing both sides of the 1400 year old Islamic War and is fighting what amounts to rear guard defense of retreating civilization because the West deliberately chooses to misidentify the enemy and refuses to attack the root of the problem.

Actually, no. War in East Asia much more resembles classic international war. East Asian interests have hitherto been restricted to East Asia. Islam’s invincible interest is in total Islamification of the world.
