You are absolutely right that this is just so much hit air blown for the cameras. I’ll believe a little bit when the IRS budget gets massively slashed. I’ll believe more when some folks from the IRS go to jail for their abuses.

All your points are excellent; however, we need to seek protection through our state legislatures. The states need to exercise their power to indict and arrest criminals in the federal government. That means nullifying illegal laws, punishing them for wandering outside their legal bounds and throwing them in prison or driving them out of the state.
The blueprint on how to do that was established by the Founders and set into reality via the Committees of Safety. This was used once to defeat tyranny, and it can be used again to affect a similar outcome.
Trying to create change through the criminal fascist syndicate infesting Washington is a useless exercise.
The first order of business is to tell these criminals No! That needs to be followed with quick and severe consequences levied against the fascists.
