Maybe we should be grateful that the average temperature is increasing slightly....
in the scheme of things, half a degree ain’t gonna poach my egg any faster. but maybe I can get grant funds to study it.

I agree that more warmth is good. Cold is worrisome, like the record cold now in Alaska. Temps have dropped there for 10 years. Arctic ice might still be shrinking but that’s a lagging effect.
Volcanoes have been scarce since Pinatubo. The next big one will be a shock. The big kahuna is weather patterns (mostly modulated by the sun). More storms means global cooling, etc.
