The politically correct media chose to lionize the wrong guy this time.
IOW, Ramsey was a looky-loo trying to get in on the publicity and the reward.
And you think that Casto creep is any better?
I call him the arrogant pos occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
Live with it
For his part, Mr Ramsey didnt mention Mr Cordero by name but did say that when he heard the woman screaming he saw his neighbour run across the street and so he went along to see what was going on.
So who was that neighbor??? Angel Cordero???
His past has nothing to do with his actions here. He helped these women escape that house of horrors and deserves credit for that.
She is the equivalent of whites that slur rednecks/country/poor whites and/or conservatives. Clueless about real people in the real world. It takes all kinds but some think they are just far above the rest of us. These are the same people that assure everyone that illegals do work citizens won’t do- when many citizens are doing that sort of work every day.
Charles Ramsey is not an embarrassment to anyone no matter what color they are. He stood up and did what needed to be done. If he was the type of person she wants to represent blacks; white collar, educated, polished- he wouldn’t have been anywhere near an area like that and couldn’t possibly have helped rescue those women. If he happened to be in the area for some reason he likely would not have wanted to be involved with those people beneath him- as her ideal spokesman he would surely have felt that way.
People that think like her are an embarrassment- no matter what race they are.
Now you are extrapolating beyond the beyond.
No abuser of women is good in my book.
They are all weak, cowardly, the lowest of the low.
Ramsey put on a nice show for fifteen minutes of his miserable life. Big f-in’ deal.
Ramsey served his time for his past misdeeds. In that area I doubt you could find a handful of people that don’t have a criminal past, present, or future. At that point in time Ramsey did not ignore pleas for help and in an area where minding your own business is key for survival he did get involved.
As to the people that think it necessary to dig up his dirt and spread it- wonder why more people don’t want to get involved?
Hey webheart, I have never heard of you but cripplecreek is of FR and has been for many, many years.
Funny thing is that I don’t believe I ever mentioned race in any of my posts but somebody sure seems fixated on it. LOL
Currently with the atmosphere in this country, zippy is totally winning the “battle” with his Alynski rules, Cloward-Piven “overwhelm” the system / which is us. Even among friends and casual acquaintances, say in public when politics comes up, there is a heightened anger and frustration. Things are “perkilatin” among the high info voters, like us. There are so many nasty actions by the entire administration that every day you think you’ve heard the worst, when only tomorrow we hear something additional to be even more disgusting.
It’s not a pretty sight and I figure this is a part of the testiness on FR, along with some outright trolls. At least here you are free to voice your opinion and most will be in our same ballpark.
Keep the faith, keep up the fight and never give in.
Are you from Ohio, and especially from the Cleveland area? If not, what made you look that guy on smoking gun? If you was then I can understand it, but if not, then I don’t
“While there may be a sad and unfortunate truth in Mr. Ramsays racial statement, it also demonstrated that when push came to shove, skin color did not matter at all. The girl sought his help and he was there.”

You said it best.
When I heard Mr. Ramsey say that on t.v., I laughed—he’s (sadly) right—and again felt that we are all just human beings living on this beautiful planet. Yes, there is evil—but there is also caring and love for each other as we make our way on whatever path we face.
I love that guy; I hope someone does something great for him, perhaps a trip for him and his wife and/or family.
“His 911 call was awesome. About every 3rd word was bleeped out for TV.”

LOL! That’s true.
The man is honest and a breath of fresh air. :)
“I work in Cleveland. I was walking down the hall the day this went down and overheard a black woman on the phone saying Charles Ramsey is so ghetto. Hes an embrassment to black people.
I strongly disagree....he is a real American...thats what we do. A man going about his everyday life when fate, luck, God...something presented an opportunity to actually do something for someone else. He put his own safety aside and did what needed to be done.
He has done more for race relations than that idiot in the White House ever has.”

Wow. I can’t believe people are trashing him.
And yes—he’s a real American who cared about the fate of a fellow human being in need.
