I don’t believe he is ineligible. Bottom line....if Obama can be president...so can Cruz.
Obama is president illegally though. I mean if thats the case lets just through the whole NBC requirement into the fire.
I like Cruz also.
I can't go along with that. I don't know if he is eligible or not, but if not, I'm not willing to violate the Constitution to save the Constitution (like Bush on capitalism, I am not going there).
Well....it has been thrown into the fire....until the supremes take it up..it is a mute point politically and constitutionally. I am of the opinion that if we allow the Alinskyites to run the ball..we are going to lose every game.
If they want to play in the mud..we have to play in the mud too. Screw playing by Queeensbury rules when we are dealing with Chicago thugs.
He'll need an inordinate amount of spit to weather their attacks. I hope he's ready.
I understand..but until the matter is resolved by the Supreme Court....Obama has set precedent whether we like it or not.
my opinion is as good as anyone’s.

On that I agree. But the only opinion(s) that will count comes from the Justices sitting on the Supreme Court of the United States should they ever undertake such a case. Until then let him run and see if the issue can be forced into the SCOTUS domain. JMO....
If everyone plays in the mud everyones dirty, winning isnt everything.. if it was you would have seen a whole lot more Romney votes on FR last year.
Winning is everything right now or else we are going to lose the entire country to commies and Marxists. The stakes could not be higher.
This is precisely where I am. I believe Sarah made it clear last time that she isn't interested in running, and I haven't heard anything different from her. And I'm glad to hear of Mark's support for Cruz.
BUT, as I was told here very recently, we haven't seen Cruz's birth certificate, and we are only taking his word that he is a citizen. It's a plot, you see. /s
Yep. And hopefully all conservatives everywhere would be pulling for a favorable ruling on Cruz's eligibility. Hopefully there wouldn't be millions of conservative Republicans voting for Hillary because they disagreed with a favorable ruling by the Supreme Court on Cruz's eligibility.
But his mom was so he is a NBC
He’d make an even better Supreme Court Justice.
Both parents need to be U.S. citizens. Cruz is a good man. Cruz is ineligible.
You may not be the final authority on Cruz’s eligibility.
From Breitbart:
“Citizenship was primarily defined by each state when the Constitution was adopted. Federal citizenship wasnt clearly established until the Fourteenth Amendment was ratified in 1868. The Constitution is not clear whether it means you must be born on U.S. soil, or instead whether you must be born a U.S. citizen.
Cruz was born in Canada, but his mother was a lifelong American, born in Delaware. (His father was a political refugee from Cuba.) So under federal law, Cruz was born an American citizen by virtue of his mother.
Theres never been a court case to decide this issue of eligibility.

That is a great idea too!
Wish I could do more , but I am limited to my outings. Had to stop going to TEA Party meetings, So I write people, contact elected officials, etc.
Sorry, I live in a suburb of Seattle in Washington State. I am not represented by anyone. The only Republicans who run for office here would be considered total RINOs by people on this site. But, this is what you get, kind of like Massachussetts where you have to simply accept that there are no truly conservative people in your state.
The demographics of this State are such that if you win three counties (King, Pierce, Snohomish), you win the State. So, even though the side of Washington State that is east of the Cascade Mountains is more Conservative, you simply cannot win the State without winning the Puget Sound area.
Yes, as do Rand Paul and Sarah Palin. I think that’s one reason all three are popular with conservatives.
