I don 't do enough, and I am ashamed of that. I have to stop wringing my hands and wailing "When is somebody going to stand up and fight?"
Consider that many scouts are from liberal voting areas that are easily susceptable to any new pc propaganda that comes along. Look at who they have been voting for these past thrty or forty years—Democrats. What have the Democrap leadership been supporting for the past forty years? Abortion and gay rights and yet those blue voting areas do not dump that party from hell.
Maybe there should be a split in the Boy Scouts with the traditional Americans staying together and the freak-of-the week Americans can follow the devil down to hell.
For the last 10 + years there has been huge concern over transmission of HIV/AIDS. As a result medical professional, police, firemen and jailers take precaution to avoid contact with bodily fluids (includes spit) of potential homosexuals transmitting the disease. Why is there no concern with protecting the boy scouts. Why shouldn’t all homosexual boys entering the scouts be tested for the disease as a precaution to protect others? Makes sense to me. Was that a poll question??????
Parents have to take into consideration that it is not only the adult homosexuals who are a problem but even the young ones will be sleeping in the same tents with their sons. Who wants to send their kids on camping trips with hormone driven homosexual adolescents. In addition, the homos will take every opportunity to preach the homosexual agenda at every opportunity. They get the indoctrination from the homosexual youth organizations that are all over the schools today so that they know all the smart a$$ pat answers to any objection to homosexuality. They want to get close to kids so that they can either get into their heads or into their pants.
This *gay* lad should be given some Bible tracts about what the Bible says about homosexuality. They may get the *right* to get in the Boy Scouts but nobody says they have to be comfortable there.
Obviously, the way to avoid perversion lawsuits is to open the door to admitting more perverts.
They can then change their name to “Turd Pokers of America”.
Funny thing (Not really that funny) is that probably not that many boys will join and say, “I am gay, so you gotta let me in!” I think it is more a liberal victory. Seriously what percentage of the gay community wants to be in BSA. I can see it now. The Scoutmaster says, “Guys, I want to introduce our newest scout, Joey.” The scouts clap. The scoutmaster then says “And for the record, Joey is gay. But remember guys, we have to treat Homosexuals the same as Heterosexuals. By the way, who wants to tent with Joey?” From the back a ten year old says, “Sir, what do you mean he is gay?” “Well son, get your parents to explain it to you”, says the Scoutmaster
This has nothing to do with gay scouts. You and I both know this is true. Since the sexual preference question is not on the application, there are gay boy scouts. I would find it hard to comb troops in America and not find one gay scout. Maybe I am wrong. With that said, if a Scout is gay, will he now admit it?
I watched Christian and my own former denomination cave in the face of sin to keep from making the faithful "feel uncomfortable" sitting in the pews. I left the church of my childhood when I could no longer stomach what I was hearing from the pulpit, hoping I could make changes from within.
When I realized I was trying to "cast pearls before swine," (though it was not my pearls but the words of Christ) I felt led to "kick the sand from my shoes," and find a group of people that at least were looking for the truth in scriptures rather than those who were denying them, to perform "social services to the community."
Now to the Scouts, it is time to grab our pitch forks and clean out the barn!
I once heard a Sunday message where we were told that when we have times of peace, we need to study, pray and strengthen ourselves for the next battle, not think the battle has been won, for Satan never sleeps.
It will only be thus when Christ returns.

Oh, wow, they have executives, I didn’t know that, I thought it was just a family/community kind of thing. I do know that the United Fund which is a pc charity sewer has been a donor to the Boy Scouts. We have to take a good look at the *charities* and tax exempt groups. There are Christian ones amd there are secular humanist liberal ones. At one time when America was one country it was safe to give to general groups such as the United Fund, Red Cross etc. but many of the executive people are indoctrinated in all the politically correct (corrupt) idealogies. Look at what happened to Susan Kolmen for the Cure? Millions of people gave money because they know someone who had breast cancer but it became known a couple of years ago that they were part of the liberal agenda. They were giving money to Planned Parenthood and many people did not know this. Many of these ngo groups are liberals who just want a good paying job away from the hated business world.
Isn’t it always the case, the elites are corrupt and departed from their values.

2. UMC - a house divided, probably will fold
3. Roman Catholic - very disappointed they haven't spoke out more against this given their own internal homosexual scandal.
4. ELCA - they ordain homosexuals. Stick a fork in 'em
5. PCUSA - they ordain homosexuals. Gig'em
6. Baptists - all flavors. The Southern Baptist Convention is THE ONLY Christian denomination among the top 6 charter institutions that is fighting the good fight against the homosexualists.
Tim Jeal’s exhaustive biography of B-P, The Boy-Man: The Life of Lord Baden-Powell, was published in 1990. He speculated that B-P could have been a repressed homosexual. Jeal's conclusion was shared by some biographers and disputed by others, but has not yet been examined in any detail by scholars.
1. His father was an Anglican minister. He died when B-P was 3 years old. His widowed mother raised him along with 6 siblings. She was a strong woman who was determined that her children would succeed.
2. B-P had a very close friendship with Kenneth McLaren in their early army service years. McLaren would later marry and die while relatively young.
3. He had very few, if any, female friends over the course of his life.
4. There is no evidence of him ever having a romantic girl friend.
5. His record of correspondence showed apathy for the female body.
6. His record of correspondence showed a keen appreciation for the male body.
7. His record of correspondence with the headmaster of his old public school, Charterhouse School, included a request to see, again, a photo album of nude male students. (Such photos were taken in those days for medical evaluation of range of motion of the limbs, to assess spinal alignment (detect scoliosis) and polio development. This was done for males and females, and was part of medical training in orthopedics and pediatrics and was a standard of medical practice. It was done in the U.S. starting in the 1880’s in the Ivy League colleges. Charterhouse was a school for the affluent.)

12. After siring 3 children with Olave, he arranged separate bedrooms for Olave and him in their home for the rest of his life.
13. It’s been 10+ years since I read this book. I recall an account which happened in the earlier years of Scouting in the U.K. B-P was pioneering the start of a long term encampment for boys (i.e., summer camp) and training center for adult volunteers. His friend, William McLaren, purchased the Cranshaw estate in Sewardstonebury, Epping Forest, close to Chingford, London. He went on to donate the property to the Scout Association in 1919. This property became known as Gilwell Park and is still in use today. Anyway, there were several incidents in the 1920s at Gilwell Park where adult Scouters sexually molested youth Scouts during encampments. This problem has plagued Scouting since its earliest days.

I like your thinking. The conservatives are in the majority right now in BSA, but not by much. Purge the liberals by maintaining the current membership policy. Let all the liberals go to the Baden-Powell Scout Association. It crossed the pond and was incorporated in the U.S. in 2002.
