And this guy never popped up on their radar when the bombs went off. And after they identified their suspects from security videos they still didn’t cross-reference that with Tamarlan.

FBI has had their hands tied through the efforts of “CAIR” limiting on how they conduct investigations on Moslems and follow Internet Terrorists Videos..

From the American Thinker....

“Realistically, the FBI had its hands tied. Tamerlan had broken no law, nor even uttered anything that could be construed as seditious or threatening.

At this point, I would blame the Russians more than the FBI. Whatever information they shared with the feds, it wasn’t serious enough to have the FBI reopen the Tamerlan file.

I’m not ready to throw the FBI under the bus quite as enthusiastically as some members of congress appear to be doing. Twenty-Twenty hindsight is a wonderful thing and what looks to us like “dropping the ball” may very well turn out to have been proper procedures.

We saw much the same thing during the investigation into 9/11. While there was certainly negligence enough to go around, some critics pointed to straws in the wind as evidence that “warnings” went unheeded. Tamerlan Tsarnaev was an extremely minor blip on the FBI’s terror radar. From this point of view, the FBI acted properly and within the scope of the law.

“If only” is not a valid criticism.

Obama himself ordered the removal of any reference to Islam, Islamic terror, etc. from literature, training manuals, any government publication issue to all federal law enforcement agencies, FBI; CIA; DHS; TSA; Border Patrol, even agencies like HUD; FHA, now the entire health industry under Obama care.

The FBI likely was just as hesitant investigating these Islamic terrorists as the military was of investigating Major Nadal Hasan who eventually massacred so many at Ft. Hood, even though all the signs were there and Officers had stated so.

Obama has defined Islam:

“a proud history of tolerance”....”Islam has demonstrated through words and deeds, the possibilities of religious tolerance”...... “The future does not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam”...

Our Goverment, through organizations like Cair and the like, have systematically used our courts and laws to prevent our good men from doing what they know they should do to protect us...not to mention our Soldiers on the Battlefields .

Perhaps they did find the information and were told to stand down.

Obama and Holder’s emphasis on reaching out to Muslims no doubt effects the way these investigations are done.

Does no one but me remember that after 9/11 we had Muslims in the FBI and CIA that refused to investigate other Muslims?

Los Angeles Times - Editorial June 17, 2012

President Obama's announcement that he will temporarily halt the deportation of some young students and veterans who are in this country illegally is a step that is in some respects worrisome — and yet one he's right to take.

FOR THE RECORD: A previous version of the headline referred to a change in the Obama administration’s deportation enforcement policy as an executive order. In fact, the policy change came as a directive from the Secretary of Homeland Security.

Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Process

FAQs updated January 18, 2013

On June 15, 2012, the Secretary of Homeland Security announced that certain people who came to the United States as children and meet several key guidelines may request consideration of deferred action for a period of two years, subject to renewal, and would then be eligible for work authorization. Deferred action is a discretionary determination to defer removal action of an individual as an act of prosecutorial discretion. Deferred action does not provide an individual with lawful status.

“Now today, it gets even worse, as NBC News has reported that Russian security services just six months ago - in November 2012 - again warned the FBI about Tsarnaev after his 6-month trip to Dagestan.”

I wanted to check this out and followed the link, but the article at the end of the link has no such information. The NBC article has either changed, or this writer may be misleading on the “November 2012” warning from Russia.

It would be a big deal if there was a 2011 warning, a 2012 trip, and a 2012 second warning, but right now I’m skeptical of that second warning from Russia.

One of my hobbies is looking up the sources of things I read here. The slander quote is worded a bit differently in the transcript below.
Obama at the United Nations - September 25, 2012

Transcript: Media Research Center

The future must not belong to those who target Coptic Christians in Egypt – it must be claimed by those in Tahrir Square who chanted “Muslims, Christians, we are one.” The future must not belong to those who bully women – it must be shaped by girls who go to school, and those who stand for a world where our daughters can live their dreams just like our sons. The future must not belong to those corrupt few who steal a country’s resources – it must be won by the students and entrepreneurs; workers and business owners who seek a broader prosperity for all people. Those are the men and women that America stands with; theirs is the vision we will support.

The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam. Yet to be credible, those who condemn that slander must also condemn the hate we see when the image of Jesus Christ is desecrated, churches are destroyed, or the Holocaust is denied. Let us condemn incitement against Sufi Muslims, and Shiite pilgrims. It is time to heed the words of Gandhi: “Intolerance is itself a form of violence and an obstacle to the growth of a true democratic spirit.” Together, we must work towards a world where we are strengthened by our differences, and not defined by them. That is what America embodies, and that is the vision we will support.

Obama went on to blame the anti-Islam YouTube video for Mideast violence.

When the Russians tell you someone visiting their country for 6 months might be involved in terrorism, you just might want to keep the case open for awhile.

It is beginning to look as if we were much safer without a Homeland Security Department.

This article claims the Russians did not catch him on the 6 month visit. Oh well. Clusterpuck everywhere.

US, Russia missed chances to intercept Tamerlan Tsarnaev

But Russian security, inexplicably, also dropped the ball, apparently failing to pick up the elder Tsarnaev brother or even question him during a lengthy visit to Russia the next year. The Dagestani Interior Ministry, the main law enforcement body in the Caspian republic of Dagestan, where Tamerlan spent as much as seven months in 2012 visiting relatives, said in a statement Saturday that "the Tsarnaev brothers are not on our databases of those wanted."

He must be on federal list investigated by KGB. Local authorities aren’t trusted by Feds in this part of the world, he could have connections in Dagestani police.

He was not wanted in Dagestan. That does not mean he was not watched.

The FBI is too busy taking pictures of Tea Partiers waving copies of the Constitution or the American Flag. You know, terrorists like that.

“FBI, DHS Were Warned About Boston Terrorist SIX MONTHS Ago - And Did Nothing”....

To late to lock the door now, the horse has left the barn. What ISN”T TOO LATE is to find out where these groups are all over this country, and then use some of that ammo the DHS people have been purchasing. IMO, the best way to defeat these animals is a good offense. Thus far, I haven’t, and do not expect to see one.
